WWE

Also its late, but who saw the Cena - Ambrose promo? Im interested and surprised that WWE would write a promo like that against their cash cow.
Because they know what's being said. And it makes for captivating interactions that bring in real world emotions...... think ala EDGE / Lita / Matt Hardy..... that could've been the greatest thing since sliced bread..... but like a lot of stories the last 16 years, they kinda fucked it up.

I was legit worried back then that Matt would go rogue and it would go wrong. Of course he's a professional, but that was a crazy issue.

This one was easier because Cena knows where he stands and he knows what's said about him. But it does have me interested more than I have been.

Smackdown is killing it after the brand split as far as story lines. Cena - Ambrose, Miz - DB, Slater, Uso heel turn...

The Internet has exposed the inner workings of the wrestling biz, and reports on so many of the real life issues, that WWE has one of two choices. Either pretend it's not happening and insult their fan base, or capitalize on it by having it play out (to an extent) in front of their fans (who already know about it anyways).

The first scenario potentially loses business/money by insulting the fans. The second scenario gets attention and makes money off of the very same situations/issues/stories. Pretty easy choice from there.

Man I was there the week after Matt kayfabe attacked Edge and out of all the live events/PPVs I've been to, when Matt showed up again that was by far the biggest reaction I've ever heard. The only other live pop I've been there for that was even close to that was back when Brock first broke the ring with Show on the superplex.

2 of my favorites wrestlers

Backlash 2003 | Bill Goldberg vs The Rock | wwe |…:

Really? Goldberg couldn't work his way out of a wet paper bag...... entertainer, yes. Wrestler, no chance ;) that being said..... i was a mark for him when I was but a young lad lol.

Id like to hear proposed arguments for a better trash talker than the rock

Maybe Randy Savage
Maybe Rick Flair

Still its distant 2nd imo

I still cannot get over the fact they had Goldberg's streak end with Kevin fucking Nash at Starrcade.
The guy was hot as hell and selling tickets all over the place, so you decide to beat him and pretty much have him do nothing for the rest of 99.
WCW man. Bad booking for decades.

Biggest heal all time
1) triple H- when he was on his hate game he is really tough not to hate
2) hollywood hogan- fuck him
3) ted debiase- that fuckin guy

Rock and Flair are 1a and 1b in my book with Dusty being 2. One of the most chilling promos ever was Harley Race. I mean, this promo makes me believe that beyond any shadow of a doubt this man believes every single word he is saying
