WWE

Lol yeah kids and women love him- my nephew loves the dude and so does my fiancee. My beef with him is just the lacking move set. By no means do I think everyone has to be Kurt Angle, but throw in some simple stuff here and there- a headlock takedown or a snapmare or hip toss or my favorite, the dreaded atomic drop lol.
See, I love his moves in general, and I agree, it seems like he is being pigeon holed into specific moves..... they don't have all the artistic freedom they used to, with agents or producers kinda storyboarding the matches before hand.... the last 18 months he seems to just strike. That's it. He used to do so much more. :'(

Ironically the same thing happened with Hulk Hogan and he had the opposite reaction. You watch back to the 1970s era Hulk Hogan when he was doing all sorts of actual wrestling maneuvers. Then come the mid-eighties all of a sudden it's Flex, big boot, leg drop, Flex.

So the WWE toned down the cruiser weights on Monday. If you watched any of the CWC you would see they have asked them to bring it down notch. I knew it wasn't going to be done the right way
Well, you don't want to blow your load right off the bat right? Plus here and now they have to start building stories with their matches. They didn't really have to during the Cruiserweight classic it was all exhibition for the most part. The match itself has to make sense, but it can't just be a spot Fest. That was the problem but they started running into with the Cruiserweight division in WCW after a while as it became spot fests and nothing but. I guarantee you during House shows that where there's no story involved they're going to put on some ridiculously over-the-top matches

The spot Fest thing is one of the reasons why even though roh puts on probably the most exciting matches in the world they can't get above the level that they've been stuck at for over a decade.

id agree with @vani11agori11a i got trained at a school local in the city I live in, booked shows on weekends. Never got big, it's actually hard. I don't consider getting my foot in the door. Anyone with a passion for it can get trained etc, getting your foot in the door means you get into a large promotion like wwe, Tna, Roh or get a chance to perform there.

The hard part unfortunately is finding a school that is actually worth going to. Because just about any Joe Schmo with a ring no matter how horrible he is or uneducated he is can con people into getting trained by him. I went to Atlanta to get trained. I could have gotten trained back home but you want to have your training be worth a damn.

I shouldnt have called him Joe Schmo bc he knew his shit, he was just a small time guy no one big. He performed on the bigger promotions like wwe and wcw but he was a jobber

Brooklyn Brawler was a jobber. But still one of the best trainers and mind's there's been. Otherwise no way they would have kept him on in those roles for all those years.... I was trained by Mr. Hughes and Elix Skipper.

And I have no qualms mentioning that in this forum, because that facility was quite large had horrible bookkeeping and had literally hundreds of guys a year cycle through there because they didn't cut it and took off. So it doesn't pinpoint me LOL

I dont think they have a trukker character yet in the wwe :D

Kevin Nash had a trucker gimmick back in the mid-90's, Diesel! Before he went to WCW as part of the Outsiders/nWo invasion gimmick.

Despite going on to be one of the "cooler" heels and most influential backstage politicians, Kevin Nash actually had some of the lamer gimmicks in his earlier days.

As proof of this, I present to you Exhibit A, Nash's first 'Diesel Entrance Theme' when he first was given that trucker persona.
