If you live in a snowy area with shit weather it can be depressing if you're single. Where I live in SoCal it's sunny and 70 in December so can't tell any difference at all. I actually miss the snow.
I like xmas for my kids and every year my wife gives me awesome sex coupons. Stuff like Pee on the vagina and cum swallowing with a smile. I like decorating with the kids and my wife is always baking and making Mexican hot chocolate. All I do is bring home a pay check and she takes care of the rest. Key to xmas is marry a good woman.

I got really burned out and bitter about the holidays. I worked every Christmas and thanksgiving for 6 years straight. Usually doing 12 hour days, getting my ass handed to me. Got to the point that the work, on top of the social obligations, was too much for me to enjoy anymore.
I've been able to take it easier the past few years, so I'm getting better about being a grinch. But I'm still over the commercialized American Christmas. Hate all the pressure to buy shit for people i don't like. . .

Great solution sir thank you for this new cutting edge support program. Personally "Manned up" for almost 20 yrs & in return I was fucking blessed with addiction as my coping skill. So unless you've hit rock bottom shut the fuck up! Talking about personal issues is very beneficial. Merry Christmas

Those are some serious issues. When it comes to mental illness and addiction the holidays can in fact be the absolute worst. A few of us have been there, the absolute rock bottom, it's a despairing hole to get out of. So to those that are in these situations, even though it can seem bleak and without a light at the end of the tunnel, things can change.

Actually I lied, hitting bottom didn't fix me. Finding out I was having going to have a son is what kept me clean. It is also what changed my perspective on life and Christmas. Maybe you should consider making little cdnguys.

PS. It shows weakness when you take your emotions out on others when you are upset. Sorry about your friend. I to lost my mother this year and my uncle last night. But I will still enjoy the holidays. This life is way to short not to try and enjoy every minute if it. Good luck I'm out. Not going to keep going back and forth with u about something so inconsequential.
