4 weeks into Body Opus diet and just 100mg/wk TRT

UPDATE 12/14

Ok, coming up near the end of 8 weeks on this. I have dropped as low as 206 lbs first thing in the a.m. and weighed today and was sitting at 209 lbs. My body is beginning to fight this diet, it's starting to fuck with my sleep more and energy levels are very low. Today for my post workout meal I had a Wendy's broccoli and cheddar potato and a small bowl of chili. My body isn't bouncing back from the carb days anymore like it was, I just stay flatter now. Today I decided to listen to my body and consume a little more post workout. I think this is about the end of the traditional body opus diet for me. I have lost as much as 18 lbs in just under 8 wks (although back up 3 lbs today). From this point forward I will begin adding carbs back in solely pre and post workout to try and get fuller and I'm guessing I'll look harder from it. My goal weight was to hit 210 and I've achieved a little more than that, now it's all about slowly filling back out and trying to maintain close to this condition.

I'll post final pics in the next day or two when I fill out a little more, very flat today. All in all, Body Opus diet is a good diet for a quick 8 week jumpstart IMO. If you're looking to get back a good and lean foundation to build on then I'd recommend it. I like to get lean first and then build up, most do the opposite. So here's to hoping for a much larger looking build with good conditioning to come. I may just add onto this thread and keep the log rolling

Yep its a very direct diet , it doesnt mess around it cuts fat from day one and on . Stay on it too long at a calorie deficit and the muscle starts cutting too .

Im primed now and any excess carbohydrates are long gone from my body . I will now do a carb-up then start eating 100-150gms/carbs/day for the next 8 weeks still at a 500cal deficit, we will see where Im at then.

So EQ does have redeeming qualities at 8 weeks. Now you really got me interested.
Absolutely. Everyone always talks about how it's a waste unless you're using it at least 12 weeks, but they say the same about deca too. So all the old timers who only ran deca for 8 wks must have been wrong rt?? It's just common consensus that 12 wks is the minimum, but you can def get results out of 8 week eq cycles , I've done a ton of them

Agreed. I've personally had great results with deca on my 8th week.

...Subbed... Kill it Demon;) You look great already bro:cool: Can't wait to see how this journey goes. I hope the best for ya man:)

Skull, good see you here brother, hey not to jack this thread, but i seen you post somewhere about pinning in traps and calves, wish you had some illustrations pics. Let me know if there was an attachment i missed. Otherwise, that would be an awesome thread you could make.

Slipped up a tad with Thanksgiving and then I got a nasty headcold and sinus issues. I pulled the trigger on some mod-rgf and I started using 200mg pre-bed and will continue on with that for at least 10 weeks. I also began Cialis again at around 7.5mg each morning to help with pumps and overall health/epithelial effects.

Love all the positive info i keep hearing about regarding Cialis, between you @Skull and @Roger rabbit rabbit, I'm gonna have to talk to my doctor to hook me up. I wish i had something to contribute to you guys but you all are leagues ahead of me. But I wholeheartedly appreciate what you guys contribute on Meso.

At 216 lbs looking like that (ripped) is F**King impressive!!! You have to be under 10%BF looking that lean. Good shit bro.
Thanks man, yea I'd guess under 10% by now, maybe 8-9% but definitely not less yet. I'm going to try to float around this condition while slowly adding back muscle mass, that's the plan anyways

Absolutely

Righteous, brother! No doubt now that proper quality FOOD and eating habits are truly the main ingredient, and AAS only magnify exponentially what you do in the gym. Obviously, you have done cycles, proper PCT i assume, keep a close on your bloods, and you took time to learn your body and how it responds and how to fine tune it. Extremely reassuring for those just getting into this lifestyle. Bravo, man.

One thing that happened from that diet was a huge elevation in cholesterol levels. I got my bloodwork back and my cholesterol was 100 points higher than it usually runs. Body Opus is good for some quick fat loss but nothing I'd be doing no more than 6-8 weeks max

Was that something you knew to anticipate going in or discovered along the way i.e. the higher cholesterol blood levels as a result?
