I have to bring my own chalk but it's cool as long as I clean up after myselfFuck that place. Our local Gold's doesn't allow chalk and that's enough that I'll never be a member.

I have to bring my own chalk but it's cool as long as I clean up after myselflots of crossfitters use chalk it's trending so who knows we may get chalk soon. Hell we just got another tire and a 30lb sledge hammer. I really like hammer work and battle ropes... but don't tell anyone they'll think things

LOL I was so suprised with the heavy tire and bfh that I didn't even get pissed that the yearly gym improvement fee ($25) from every member went to a free tire and a at most $80 hammer and a pull up bar not even assisted just a straight up pull up barI bring my own, too. Also, your secret is safe with me.![]()

Hell almost every piece of equipment they got has pull up handles they even have some of those cool rogue sphere attachments. I just wished they'd used it on something that was more needed like a chest press machine that uses plates or a stair stepperBut you have to pull your feet up to do them there. I hate that.

Yeah I was just throwing that out there. They got 2 benches and a another in the dumbell area not counting the smith machine, 2 squat racks a dedicated deadlift area...not a bad gym but no stair stepper.Stair stepper is the best intense cardio machine for me. A chest press machine seems unnecessary if they have benches though?
Looks good man I make something similar but I throw in an orange instead of carrots.Sweet Jesus, balls this stuff is AMAZING.
green and red bell peppers, pineapples, carrots, jalapeños, sweet onion, rice, and chicken.
Cooked the chicken and rice in pineapple juice. Sea salt and red pepper flakes.
Was going to add cashews but completely forgot.
Edit: also cooked 2 eggs in with the rice when I put it all in the wok
My days are running together up here. I hate it!
Keep missing my Monday shots and end up doing them on Tuesday. So fuck it!! Tuesday's and Friday's from now on.
I'm ready to start putting up some serious weight. My back has always been decently strong. Legs too. Chest and shoulders have always been week.
I haven't done squats in about a week. They kept destroying my hip, so today I did some shitty Lateral leg press Machine. No strain, but it didn't let me bring my knees past parallel. Need to figure out how to use those machines.
Goals - all for 6-8 reps
90lb weighted pull-Ups
315 incline bench
225 OHP
405 bent over Row
405 Squat if I can do it pain free
150lb dumbbell stiff Leg deadlift for 15 reps
What are your squat mechanics like? Low bar? High bar? If you haven't tried inversion with a 200lb resistance band choked off on a pull up bar or power rack then try it out. It big time helps with tight hips.
That last part flew right over me. Set the band to help you out of the hole?
I would guess my hip and back mobility is shot now. Haven't stretched in a while and I'm sure my body is still tense from that road trip.
High bar. Feet a bit wider than shoulder width and I point my toes out a little bit. I can squat down past parallel fine. But last week I did a set of 315 for 10 or 12 reps, and immediately after I racked it and got out from under the bar it was like my whole lower body wasn't in agreement with what I just did.
This is what I meant by inversion and choking a resistance band off a power rack. I personally do it off a pull up bar bc I want my whole upper body off the ground. I step on a platform box, choke off the band and step through it. As I invert, I push the box out of the way and go about the stretches. It's fucking amazing for opening up tight hips and decompressing the back.
Far different from what I was picturing. That lady can do stripper poles on me all day long if she wants.
Thanks for sharing!! I can see how they would help. Will start doing them in the mornings.
