I'd like to hear how it wasted years of your life and how you beat it?
What's your story?
Do whatever you have to do to hang it up man. I wasn't a alcoholic but I was a bad IV drug addict for years. I've been clean for almost 4 years now and my life has changed dramatically. Go get help and put it down before it's too late. Good luck bro.12 years of alcohol abuse has ruined my life. Missed out on most of my 20's and 30's. Now 36 and going to beat this demon once and for all.
Experimented with my best friends when we were in the 5th/6th grade. 7th to 8th grade was drinking almost every weekend. High school was a little more. College was in excess..........

Be careful man!Yeah, I've never had a support plan before. I'm going to start attending aa meetings, I'm also seeing a counsellor and working with the alcohol services. They're going to prescribe naltrexone.
Anyway, today is day 1. I'm self detoxing with diazepam.
Be careful man!
I know alcohol withdrawals are one of the only ones that can actually kill you by causing seizures. The Valium helps prevent that from happening but be careful not to get addicted to those because they too can cause seizures from withdrawal. I know from experience about benzo and diazepam withdrawals, they are a motherfucker to come off of if used for too long.Day 1: 10mg 4 times a day
Day 2: 10 mg 4 times a day
Day 3: 10 mg morning, 5 mg midday, 5 mg evening, 10 mg night
Day 4: 5 mg morning, 5 mg miday, 5 mg evening, 10 mg night
Day 5: 5 mg 4 times a day
Day 6: 5 mg 4 times a day
Day 7: 5 mg morning
