I'm not sure if it would or wouldn't. I think it's all in the delivery of what you're saying, but its business to them so you never know
I sent her a message letting her know that I was sorry for being standoffish when she originally contacted me, I was thinking it might be a scam.
She acknowledged my concern and told me no worries, and that if I haven't received any correspondence from the lawyers yet, it will be in my inbox shortly.

In my opinion this reeks of desperation but i usually have a a more hard line approach to looking at things than others.
So after them going NC on you for how long a week now, all of a sudden you sent an email and reply with - Offer incoming. Very unusual way of doing business. And lawyers are conducting business thru Facebook PM?

The legal side is through email, not FB. The woman who reached out is the company's social media person, that's about all I know other than the easily looked up financial shit online. Here is a screen shot of the last back and forth.

FB doesnt support mediating 3rd party disputes, however it has a legal obligation to take action if Trademark laws are being violated. The company that is supposed to offer this buyout is offering it to a non commerce entity that has a zero percent chance of fooling perspective consumers.
