GH and water retention

Hey dudes, i only tried hgh once from a generic source. It went terrible in my opinion. My weight shot up about 10 lb which I'm assuming was mostly water retention which I was not expecting. The carpal tunnel in my hands was really bad but probably the worst was the back pumps. I've never had it so bad. I'm guessing that this is due to the water retention? I was running 2iu morning and 2 in the evening. A moderate dose I thought. But the back pumps had me to where workouts became severely inhibited. However I'm looking to give it another try. Do you think 4 IU's was too aggressive to start? Perhaps starting at 2 would allow my body time to acclimate and mitigate some of these side effects. I was also recently listening to something from John Meadows where he recommended one daily dose instead of splitting it up as a way to limit sides. I've always found this logic to be the opposite with anabolics but maybe with GH it has some validity. @mands

If you're going to use generic GH get used to the sides. That's what you get. You should not be getting that heavy water retention at that low of a dose. I used generics in the past, and same thing as you. Water buffalo, CTS, felt like shit pretty much. I will say the Greys were better, but still sides to a lesser degree. If you started at that dose with pharm grade GH, I'm guessing you wouldn't be having those problems. As far as John Meadows, he gives great advice, but I'm willing to bet John Meadows isn't pissing around with generic GH either. For dosing GH, I've tried it every way, and it really makes no difference. I like splitting up my doses though. I take 6iu Serostim so I do 2iu three times daily. No sides, not even when I started, and I started off with 4iu straight away. The most important thing is you use quality GH, and the only way to do that is by using pharm grade GH imo. All my opinion, and I will get blasted for saying generics are inferior to pharm GH, but after using GH for over 10 years and comparing, the results don't compare.

@lilhawk . I've seen lots of testing on Gray tops, black tops, Etc. They seem to test very close to Pharma. While not being anywhere near an authority on HGH, I can say about AAS that pharma test and a quality UGL are the about the same imo. What do you think are the factors that make Pharma so much more Superior then generic? Considering that they test very similar. Serious question, not being sarcastic. Thanks

Witchcraft is the only explanation I have found until now. On topic, I think water retention, like everything, is highly individual. I had maybe a kilo of water added the 1st week on my 1st ever try and I jumped at 4 IU from day 1. And to put it into perspective I am not immune to water retention on MK-677 I was up 10 kilo in 10 days all water my ankles and wrists looked like marshmallow.

I've used several different Growth hormone brands including pharma pens and they all made me gain water weight. Around 10 pounds or so.

Were you running anything else at the same time as the HGH?
Yes, test and drol. Now I know what you're thinking, it's definitely the Anadrol. But I'm a veteran user of Anadrol and it has never done that to me before. But I'm thinking in combination with the GH perhaps

That's what I'm thinking it was probably a combined effort. I've never had back pumps from just HGH. Although it really does effect everyone differently. Id give it another go, but start out at a much lower dose and raise it every 2 weeks by 1 iu until you are at desired dose.

I think back pumps are a multi factor occurrence, I have had them because of water retention on MK-677 and because of superdrol with no water retention. Maybe the ones you were on had an additive effect to back pumps as pointed out already

Dude has admittedly only been on pharma, he is from Eastern Europe where that is easily available and check what he explained. I hope that will put an end to the witch hunt and misleading people that would benefit nobody
