I'm currently dieting and have started mixing my unflavored/unsweetened iso whey with just water and creamed honey(flavor/carbs)and it's night and fucking day difference for me. I gave up dairy milk a few months back and switched to almond milk and that reduced bad gas and bloat quite a lot, but mixing with water is SO EASY on my guts it's like just drinking water.

My protein is VERY high right now and I'm able to drink 4 protein shakes per day(66 grams each)along with 4 large chicken breast/rice meals(both plain)and 6 whole eggs with dry toast every day and I get almost no gas and if I do it's not the clear a barn kind of deal lol.

Just happy to not be a fart monster anymore and wanted to share on the chance the info might help someone else out :)

glad you got it figured out, man. i'm pretty sure i remember you trying to figure this out a few months ago. what kind of protein you using?

thank you, i think ill look into that

Np bro. It's very good stuff, digests real easy.

I'm downing 264 grams a day just from the whey and no bloat at all and that's on top of another 150 grams of p from chicken and eggs.

One big ass bowl of dry frosted mini wheats every evening and I'm regular as fuck lol ;)

Glad you found a way that worked for you.

What worked for me was switching from regular milk to organic lactose-free milk. And switching from Whey to Isolate. Zero bloat and gas. Game changer.

That's the same protein I use. I get the Whey Protein Isolate version (they have others). I always get unflavored as I don't fuck with "natural flavors" and especially not "artifical flavors". It is Top rated by ConsumerLab. They have tons of sales too, often 30-50% off, so never pay full price. I got my last bag at 50% off so $70 for the protein. $77 with shipping. I got 2 bags at once for my first order and now whenever I run out of 1 I wait for a sale then just get another. Works quite well! They also have some pretty good looking tops for women too, I got one for my gf which is quite nice.

Holy cow that is a ton of whey!

I have found MyProtein Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) to be king of proteins for me. I have tried all kinds of proteins, various brands of whey, pea/rice mixes, hemp (holy fuck that shit riggity-WRECKED my stomach), all kinds. This protein is BY FAR the best.

Personally, I like the taste of whey. It has an a creamy sort of flavor to it that I like. Also the Isolate has extremely low lactose content (ConsumerLab found a mere 0.31g per serving)!

I have found WPI in water with a dash of honey to be highly palatable and easy to consume. It works great. Sometimes I will also add a quarter cup or so of Silk Protein Nut Milk in there, which adds a bit of nice flavor too. Or I will just mix a teaspoon of cocoa powder in there with it and mix that up.

Question for you: when you mix up your protein, do you mix it with hot water? I usually boil some water then add a little bit, stir, add a little more, stir again, a little more, stir again--that way I can prevent stubborn clumps from forming. It also helps the honey absorb too.

I use a 1000ml Nalgene travel jug to mix. I use 200mls cold water, 3 scoops whey and a tsp of honey and shake. I let it sit a while then shake again and repeat till the froth goes away. It's more work than just blending and drinking, but NO GAS so worth it IMHO.

Myprotein has some cool tanks I want to order, but all out of stock so that fucking sucks cause good tanks are HARD to find :(

I have been using an "organic" protein by Orgain. It has been really easy on the stomach. Probably not as cost effective as that isolate you're talking about, but still pretty good. Taste could be a bit better, but I down it. Might give that isolate a try once I get low on this stuff.

To OP I have dealt with the same digestive issues concerning whey for years. I started drinking egg whites with oatmeal and huge difference. I mean a difference I see in my muscle tone. Its remarkable. Hate to say it but whey shakes are basically worthless for our uses. Perhaps just as something to get you from one meal.to another but not day in day out. You are losing muscle if you do. The best theory I have seen is that when you eat meat your body recognizes the proteins and kicks out anabolic growth factors or something. Perhaps thats true, maybe there is more to the story. Regardless, Ive tried to live on whey or a half whey diet and i always look like crap after a little while. It is what it is. Now I drink only hydrolyzed whey immediately post workout with karbolyn but even then I add a serving of aminos that gives me 5grams of leuceine to kickstart anabolism because i find even hydrolyzed whey doesnt do much on its own. That could actually make a impact for you a positive one, try taking in 5g leuceine with your shakes see if your.muscles get fuller. Worth a shot. But dieting like you are I have.mixed feelings about (mostly negative.) If only it were so easy lol.

Oatmeal gives me INSANELY bad gas and if I mix with eggs my facts will strip paint off of walls. Imho if anyone looks like crap because of too much protein from whey it's because the whey is shit quality and or the shakes have WAY too many calories. Since I started blasting iso daily my muscles are fuller, recovery time is better and I feel better overall including my guts and that is SO important to me.

Whey is a complete protein so how anyone could think it's not good for building muscle is beyond me.

Anywho I didn't post this for naysayers to judge, I posted it as possible helpful info to others who have gut issues :)

First pic is after shaking and second pic is letting it sit a while. 66 protein/300 cals/30 cals

I admit it looks like jizz, but it gets the job done and no bloat/gas so I'm happy lol.

I get horrendous gas from eggs and also oats but for some unexplainable reason blending liquid egg whites with instant oatmeal and drinking I get zero gas.

If your Jizz contains 200mL of foam then you definitely need to see a doctor...or perhaps make a porno, I am sure there would be some bukkake people that would be super into that XD XD XD

You know in your heart shakes don't work. Here is some truth/motivation. It helps me anyway.

If that is a recent video of Ronnie Coleman in his house making food, then I just gained even more respect for him. White, standard grade appliances? Living humble man, none of that insane luxury kitchen bullshit. Humility is one of the most lacking traits in modern society IMO. Everyone wants to appear so rich, whether they have the money or not. It's quite unfortunate! Anyway, the music was a tad overdramatic (lol), but great video, thanks for sharing!
