(Mis)adventures in Compounding

Yeah I'll keep homebrewing, no thank you.

There with you. I am unshocked by the report. These sorts of jobs are really barely a step up in monotony from food service with better pay but the same issues with inattention and general Give A Shit level.

Always an adventure reading through each week's new FDA Warning Letters....

It is pretty clear - at least if one is willing to trust and believe the reports from FDA shared out to the public - that a fair portion of facilities seem to have zero care for safety & sanitation standards (legal + ethical), generally as well as acutely day to day... Getting "caught" is the only thing that may possibly spark (force/feign) change for the better for those kinds of places.

No... While I am no fan of the FDA this report is not about FDA being shit... it is about business employees (in this case those of : EMPOWER CLINIC SERVI CES, LLC, dba Empower Pharmacy) being shit about following the standards set by the FDA.

It is the FDA inspecting these folks and reporting on their findings.

This is a rare case where tax money was quite well spent while private money being spent was not doing a great job.

Adam Smith is right on average but often the rule doesn't hold at the edges.
