Qingdao Sigma Chemical Co., Ltd (International, US, EU, Canada and Australia domestic

I don’t want to upset anyone, but my Xmas promo order cleared customs in just two days and is already with the local carrier - no delays or inspections whatsoever. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe they decided to actually work a bit before New Year’s.

Me too. I suspect they may have changed shippers.

I mean...he wouldn't be wrong if he did (but I have the distinct impression he never took on this endeavor to make friends...cause it hasn't been an effective social effort...lol).

I don't really understand the whole "wtf you think now Readalot" sentiment.

The goal of testing is ONGOING surveillance.

I agree probably not ALL the tests need to be done...but testing should be an ongoing surveillance process (not - look, we did it... it's great...fuck off).

I'm pleased at the testing. If it's sincere, Keep it up! (and maybe we can try something novel and support Readalots harm reduction goal even if you don't understand the motivation or like the messenger). I mean something just happened I kept hearing "will never fucking happen so give it up."

As always, we can all contribute constructive ideas to try and make this safer. @readalot thank you for your education efforts and the time you have spent learning and sharing info on this endeavor.

Would've been helpful for someone to do the math instead insisting "It'll be $5 a vial!". That was absurd from the beginning.

However, should QSC continue this type of testing regularly, so that it becomes expected, it's going to make things much harder for smaller producers without the volume to spread costs over much lower amounts of product. Forget human interest
as a motive, it never is in business, this is a way to put the screws to the competition.

I did the math and shared it explicitly with you. You had no comments in response.

Assume 1 kg of raw. At 2g per vial that is 500 vials. Let assume a conscientious source who samples from raw bag with 3 samples for testing (triplicate). That is 1500 USD on incremental impurity testing per batch. 1500 USD / 500 vials is an additional 3 USD per vial.

Disingenuous comment. I did the math and shared it explicitly with you. You had no comments in response.

That wasn't a criticism of you.

You have a problem discerning your enemies from your allies, A common social disability among intensive thinkers who've been bashed around by idiots.

Response to "Tracy":

Well done on the testing. Keep it up as part of ongoing surveillance. A vendor in your position could do a lot to help the community understand the current raws purity situation and apply pressure to improve with GCMS surveillance.

Thank you for sharing the results.

Lol looks like they're gonna have to reship a boatload for us that got fucked

Still too early to say though. Nothing's seized until a letter arrives.

I was "lucky" in the sense my first international orders years ago regularly took 45-60 days, so anything less was a miracle.

Any India PCT buyer is also used to 30 days+.

I once had a very proactive India vendor send a reship (without me asking) because the order sat in customs for a month.

The original order arrived after 75 days, the reship got seized lol.

China shipments have long been getting through in strangely short amounts of time. This "free pass" of cargo containers completely bypassing customs scrutiny is what's likely coming to an end. 97% of shipments from China never get touched by customs,

QSC reships 30 days no movement from last update.

Alrhought your assessment is cool i would still.like for the source to answer on what they know instead of everyone deflectng the situation so the source does not have to....

Relax, like all essentials, you stocked up with at least 6 months worth while it was dirt cheap. That'll see you through the drought....
By that same logic never thought that the supplier would run out of the essentials... My fault for assuming that, will stock up next time like a good boy

Always have a buffer of underground "essentials". Sometimes shipping that usually takes 2 weeks takes 4 months. Or the supplier exit scams, or suddenly a key ingredient supplier is taken out.

Consider that nearly everything we use has a shelf life of at least 5 years, and that not only allows you to ride out shortages, but "top up" your supply when prices are really attractive.

Frankly, until we know raws are being made again, it's still prudent to stock up while prices are reasonable and there's availability for some oils. Or at least get some raws as insurance, even if you have no desire to brew, at least you have a fall back if the drought goes on much longer than we hope.
