If it's in the blister pack it's vacuum sealed so it should last forever at room temperature away from light.Does anyone know what shelf life is like? I have some Modavigil from maybe 10-12 years back.

I've been using both and still always feel the effects of both. I don't take adderall daily though only two days a weekSame here. I've been on Adderall for years and have been tempted to try Modafinil just to experiment and compare, plus I've heard good things about it but I suspect the Adderall would override it's stim effect.
Have sleep apnea or work shift. What's the best suggestion to get a legit prescription for Modafinil or armodafinil through telehealth or pcp?

When dieting, consider using 50mg of Modafinil daily. It can significantly reduce food focus by keeping you mentally engaged and feeling productive throughout the day.
I keep forgetting to order some Armoda. At 200mg Moda does nothing for me. I need to try 300mg but that seems excessive and I’ll blow through my stock fast. And that’s if it has an effect at 300.
I have been playing with different doses for a few weeks now. My sleep is trash really and I think I need to stop for a minute. I will wake up after only a few hours but when I wake up, I'm awake. The more I think about it my issue seems to be I'm not groggy or really tired when waking. I feel its the moda/armo. Not "feeling" taking different doses like to where I know I took it but overall not as tired during the day. Amazing stuff. Thanks @Ghoul
I purchased Modalert 100mg.Often a different brand can make a difference. Which are you using?
Moda has been taken up to 5000mg without any harm besides insomnia for a couple days.
Doses over 400mg don't provided any added benefit though.
Get a different brand and some Armoda as you suggested to see what works for you,

I do notice appetite suppression for the first half of the day after taking it upon rising in the morning, so I imagine that’s the mechanism. It's been clinically observed long term daily Modafinil users, over two years, have a significantly lower rates of obesity than the general population.
I just got some labs back and noticed my A1C went up a little and so did my LDL. I wouldn’t have considered the 200mg daily Modafinil I’ve been taking the last couple of months as a potential cause until I re-read this study showing hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia in rats.
There isn’t really good human evidence to back up this rat study but absence of evidence doesn’t necessarily mean evidence against.
It might be unrelated to the Modafinil but I’m wondering if anyone else who uses it daily has ever encountered anything like this.
In the meantime, I will stop taking it daily and only use sparingly.
@Ghoul Were you able to try out dalfampridine? Really interested in hearing your thoughts. This is where we have a conundrum similar to GLPs. "These benefits only apply to the obese, or diabetics.".
There is significant evidence suggesting benefits for "healthy" people using either Moda or GLPs, however, the ethics review for medical research required for approval of studies doesn't allow for long term experimentation in those without a "problem" that's supposed to be the target of the research. So we see a benefit, like white matter increasing after long term use "in narcolepsy" sufferers, and "stroke victims with fatigue", and the temptation is to dismiss these effects as being limited to those groups (which is always possible of course), but when you dig into the mechanism of action, it's not really anything to do with those conditions, and could very well apply to everyone, but modern research methods simply doesn't accommodate experimentation for "enhancement" purposes, only for treating illness.
There's a drug called "dalfampridine" that's showing the ability to boost "working memory", a major element of cognition closely associated with success and accomplishment, significantly, in healthy people. It's a drug for multiple sclerosis, and TLDR, improves the "electrical insulation" around nerves to prevent signals from "leaking" and therefore work more efficiently. It appears quite safe, with the major risk being making nerves too efficient, inducing tremors at too high of a dose.
It sounds like it's potentially an amazing physical and cognitive performance enhancer. Yet, studies on healthy people have been limited to 3 days. I'm eager to get my hands on some from India pharma.
When I take I stand all day. Makes sense. It's been clinically observed long term daily Modafinil users, over two years, have a significantly lower rates of obesity than the general population.
It’s not a perfect study but I don’t really know why else my A1C would jump from 5.2% to 5.6% especially on 2-3mg Retatrutide and not changing any others factors. Just an anecdote I have here that kind of blindsided me. I’ll see what coming off (which I don’t want to do) ends up doing. Still looking to see if anyone else who takes it daily noticed anything weird like that. Having glucose go up after dosing Modafinil could suggest something like this could happen.I'm pretty open minded to possibilities based on tentative evidence, but in this experiment they used other drugs to make the rats diabetic first and then gave them 50-100x the usual human dose of Modafinil.
No other evidence shows any effect of Modafinil on lipids or glucose. I don't know what they were trying to discover with this wild experiment, but it doesn't seem to have any connection to human biology.

Or it could be something unrelated I am missing.
