Oral Weight Loss Substances Ranking – Backed by Science!

Hey everyone,

I’ve put together a detailed ranking of the most effective oral compounds for fat loss - based on scientific evidence and real-world experience. The ranking is determined by actual effectiveness for weight reduction, not just theoretical mechanisms.

Do you think an essential substance is missing? Are there newer, better alternatives?

Looking forward to your insights!

DNP being #17 is crazy. Taken at 100-150mg/day you still have good uptick in metabolism that outpaces almost any other compound on this list, with very little sides. With proper supplementation and monitoring, you'll experience no long term sides and accomplish in 3 weeks what would have taken 6-7. Stacked with an anorexiant like Tirzepatide and you push that even further.

I was weighting on getting clen, but I think the possible heart related sides are not worth it.

Yohimbine, however, seems to help with weight loss, has much less serious sides and it's even legal. Far from clen's effectiveness I'm guessing but it seems like a good supplement still.

I've searched meso for yohimbine experiences and read most of them, if anyone wants to share more I'm listening!

really not sure between yohimbine and rauwolscine, i will search for experience as well but there isnt many here or at all for only yohimbine without steroids.

btw isnt the heart problem on clen only were on horses taking huge doses?

It's possible to take enough Clen that the heart works harder than it's possible to provide it with sufficient oxygen. This results in some heart muscle tissue death from oxygen starvation.

I've seen a few clinical reports of this happening. Not catastrophic, the patients walked out the hospital within a couple of days (I've never read of a death), but heart damage is possible. No idea what that means for them in the long term, but doesn't sound good.

Yeah this were the heart problems I read about. I know it's only from high dosing, but with UGL sources being somewhat inconsistent with doses, permanent heart damage is not something I want to risk just to loss weight faster. I'd rather cut for two or three extra weeks and be safe.

And rauwolscine seems interesting too, anyone has any insight on rauwolscine and yohimbine?

I really didn't like rauwolscine. Kept having to pee but not a lot came out, clammy hands, sweating, no bueno.

It probably works so if you don't get the side effects or tolerate them better than me, cool. It was 3 mg/d.

@the_pope just saw you asked

Just to be clear I'm not endorsing it. I never recommend using UGL Clen, pharma only. Most of the time it's cheaper too,

No UGL orals of any kind if there's a pharma alternative. Once variance testing started it became obvious they absolutely suck at making tablets, even with commercial equiptment like 3-d mixers.

I see, those sides sound uncomfortable. Did you take rauwolscine alone or with yohimbine?

I think I might as well buy a small quantity and try it, after a bit of googling it doesn't seem to have any other "serious" sides.

I know you weren't endorsing it, I absolutely agree with you. I'm not risking it with clen, not worth it at all. Permanent heart damage is serious stuff.

I’ve been using yohimbine for years (with breaks). The cheapest way to get it is directly from the US via iHerb – usually with 20–25% off. Way cheaper than in the EU or Germany!

Right now, I have this two products at home.

Important: Yohimbine only works on an empty stomach!

I take it in the morning without shakes or clear protein.

Then I do low-intensity cardio (heart rate 120–130) for at least 45 minutes, 3 times a week.

I weigh around 90–92 kg and take 10 mg of yohimbine at once.

No side effects for me.

I use it specifically for stubborn fat (love handles) at around 14-16% body fat.

There’s also a solid protocol in Lyle McDonald’s book The Stubborn Fat Solution – just google the PDF.

I landed on this store after a google search and I was wondering if it was any good. Thank you for letting me know!

No shakes or protein, got it. Is coffee good, tho? (just coffee, no sugar nor milk) Stacking caffeine would probably help, but this is just a guess.

And I'll look for the book, thanks.

Most of Lyle's content is pretty good. You have to deal with his sarcasm, but the training content is good. He's been making a lot of videos lately with Solomon Nelson on YT.

Black coffee is fine. I also take 400 mg of green tea extract in capsule form (from iHerb).

In addition, I use Lipo-6 Defining Gel by Nutrex Research, which contains yohimbine. I apply it to target areas.

There’s no scientific evidence supporting it, but I like the warming, slightly burning sensation. It also feels like I sweat more during LISS workouts.

My game changer is Metformin.

I was recently diagnosed with insulin resistance after a visit to the doctor.

What is insulin resistance?
Normally, after you eat, your body releases insulin to help move sugar (glucose) from your blood into your cells, where it’s used for energy or stored.

With insulin resistance, your cells no longer respond properly to insulin.

As a result, glucose can’t enter the cells efficiently and stays in the bloodstream — keeping blood sugar levels high.

In response, your body produces even more insulin in an attempt to get the glucose into the cells.

This leads to chronically elevated insulin levels (hyperinsulinemia), which can cause a number of issues:
  • Constant fatigue, especially after meals
  • Intense cravings for sugar or carbs
  • Brain fog and poor concentration
  • Difficulty losing weight despite diet and exercise
  • Rapid weight gain (especially belly fat) when eating slightly over maintenance
  • Frequent urination
  • High blood pressure
  • Restless sleep
  • Mood swings
Since starting 500 mg of Metformin morning and evening, I’ve started losing weight — especially around the belly — without changing anything else.

If these symptoms sound familiar, I highly recommend getting tested for insulin resistance. And if diagnosed, Metformin can make a huge difference.

Cost: Around €18 at a pharmacy or €25 at Optitropin.eu or bgpharma.

is there a way to take clen safe?
what was the dosage to make heart cells die?

what is UGL?
Gorilla Mind Rauwolscine

Rauwolscine only, 3 mg per cap

It's pretty inexpensive, 90 caps for $30
cheaper here i think (even cheaper if u buy more than 1)

The issue is accurate dosing of micrograms. It's not something you can rely on with UGL. clen. You could have 200mcg in. a tablet you think contains 20mcg,

Pharmaceutical clen is available for
India pharma. "Clenbut" is one brand. Limit it to no more than 80mcg day and unless you have preexisting heart problems risk is very low. The people who ended up in the hospital were often dealing with raw power had inadvertently taking enormous doses. Sometimes they thought "mcg" was "mg". 1 mg is 1000mcg.
