All right, not that old, but getting there... 38 years old at the time of starting this topic, 100kg (220pounds), and 195cm (just under 6'5) with about 15-16% body fat.

Hello Everybody, just joined this fine forum, and had only recently started TRT in April 2025.
I added *mostly* to the title, because I just added 70mg primo to the 140mg/week TRT I have been doing for 5 months.
No labs yet with the primo, but I will update this thread every time I do a new lab work.

Anyway, here are my hormone levels (I have not tried any aromatase inhibitors yet):

This is Testosterone Enanthate, and I administer 40mg EOD (= 140mg/week). All labs were taken about 24 hours after the last administration. I am very careful about the measurements.

I'm new and not sure yet how much source talk is tolerated here, so I'll skip that for now, but am happy to answer any questions later.

A couple of things I’d love to hear your thoughts on:
1. What is that TT 1900 ng/dl peak, why could that have happened? Steady state should’ve been established long before.
2. What is that E2 83 pg/ml peak, I really thought it was starting to settle at around 65-70. Maybe primo will help.
3. Should I start taking DHEA? If so, should I add Pregnenolone as well? (that one is too expensive to test for in my country)

Luckily all my other labs are fine.

Looking forward to learning and sharing here. Thanks for stopping by my thread, and any input is much appreciated!

All the best,
adomlinif (yeah, regretting that username already)

ps: I uploaded some screenshots of the hormone panel part of my last 2 labs just to show some proof that I'm not playing here (they are in Hungarian though and I had to convert the units).

Wrong thread, this isn't the "new members" thread where your supposed to introduce yourself to the Meso community, its in THE RULES, maybe start over there and come to Meso Rx correctly with a new member introduction, Have a Grateful Day

Hey, fair point - I missed the intro thread at first (already posted there and apologized), but I don’t think this was the wrong place to share. My intention here was to contribute something useful, not spam or clutter.

The personal details I included (age/weight/BF%) are part of the context for my bloodwork and cycle info, so they weren’t meant as just an introduction - they’re relevant to the discussion. Hopefully, that makes sense.

I respect the rules and I’ll follow them moving forward. At the same time, I’d like to focus on adding value here, and I’m genuinely hoping this post can spark a constructive exchange that might help others down the line.

Nicely formatted, thanks for sharing.

> What is that TT 1900 ng/dl peak, why could that have happened?

Diet and daily hormonal fluctuations happen, though ~1,200ng -> 1,900 is quite a jump.

Are you getting bloodwork done at the same time of day, and same length of time since last injection?

> What is that E2 83 pg/ml peak, I really thought it was starting to settle at around 65-70.

I wouldn't read too much into your E2 values. As long as you feel good, just let your body do what it wants. Lots of folks running 750-1,000mg Test with no AI.

> Should I start taking DHEA? If so, should I add Pregnenolone as well?

Personally, I wouldn't. As long as you physically feel okay, just use your bloodwork numbers as a "nice to have" set of datapoints.

Thank you, I appreciate it, it did take me an hour to format it, so I will definitely be using it for future blood work updates.

Yes, I pin in the mornings (EOD), and always go the next morning for blood checks, so about 24 hours after last administration. No problem, I'll consider this 1900 value an anomaly.
I wouldn't read too much into your E2 values.
I forgot to mention (and in hindsight, I really should have) that I have Heterozygous Factor V Leiden mutation, resulting in a slightly increased risk of developing blood clots (thrombophilia). In that case, maybe someone has some insight on whether I should try to keep my E2 a bit lower or not.

Sounds perfect, and thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my thread.

Kindest Regards,
adomlinif (I do hate my own forum name, but I am stuck with it now :))

Your blood test was a day after you pinned. How often do you inject?
What is the range for your TT?

Seems you DHEA-S could be a little higher and your E2 lower if long term health is your goal.

With the factor V Leiden mutation, I'd definitely prioritize keeping your hematocrit in range. Have you been doing CBC as part of your blood work?
Yes, Sir! I had chatGPT translate my latest labs and attached it, hematocrit is in range, I am going to take a bit more iron supplementaion though.

Hey guys,

New lab results show that the added primo (70mg/week) to my 140mg/week testosterone enanthate really lowered my E2, I feel like this is too low now:

I added the 70mg/week primo after the lab in September. I am using the same testosterone, so looks like primo also lowers that (?).
My other labs are actually perfect (everything in ref range).

Thank you for any tips or input. My plan now is to lower the primo to just 35mg/week so my E2 recovers a bit (I have never taken any AI).

Primo definitely lowers e2, as demonstrated. Lowering the primo is a good idea. Retest and adjust again in four weeks. I would hold off adding the dhea and until you get the test/primo levels sorted.

Sounds 100% logical, thank you. That is exactly what I will do. I'll update this thread after the next lab.

Are you feeling any symptoms from the E2 at 24 pg/ml? I notice it was also 24 in April.
Ahh, yes — I should’ve actually put <24 in both cases, since that’s how this specific lab reports results. They only give a precise number once it’s above 24, so I’ll still keep using them for consistency.

Back in April, I hadn’t started testosterone yet and my libido was okay. After starting TRT (140 mg Test E), my libido definitely went up along with my E2. Right now though, I don’t really notice much change — I don’t have any symptoms either way. If anything, my libido might actually be a little better with the lower E2, but honestly, it was already pretty high on TRT.

I did develop a mild flu a few weeks after introducing Primo though (first time being sick since April). It’s probably unrelated, though I’ve seen some discussion suggesting that lower estradiol levels might reduce immune resilience.
