1st cycle, out of shape, high bodyfat

100 facepulls!! thats insanity yyou must been toasted after
Shit sucked lol. But I'm recovered enough that I can train shoulders again on schedule this Sunday, I'll be going heavier and adding more lifts for this three days but will be back on those century sets the next three days.

you sound inspired bro, which is inspiring.

what kinda muscle splits do you train??
Change it up every few weeks... i don't train legs very much as I just finished rehabbing injuries. Once I'm confident they'll hold up I'll give em their own day.

Currently
Chest and bi's century sets
Back and tri's century sets
Delts/traps/legs century sets
Double cardio day
Chest and bi's heavy low volume
Back and tri's heavy low volume
Delts/traps/legs heavy low volume
Rest or double cardio

Repeat.

shoulders on leg day! you must be going super hard.

when you wanna switch up this training regime definitely consider FST-7 - shit is brutal

edit: just saw what you said about legs.. if you can't train them that definitely sucks! if you can train legs without risk of injury don't neglect them

They're that way cuz i never neglected them lol, my knees took a beating. The bodybuilding team i used to train with called me Quadzilla. And was the only guy at my mma gym who could kick a 500lb thai bag and have it actually move ;) I can't wait to get back to full leg training. I actually miss not being able to walk right lol.

Forgot the green tea, tomato, and turkey bacon. Luckily had some prochuito in the fridge.

4 egg whites,

handful of spinach sautéed in 1 Tbsp of Mac oil (calls for olive oil but that shit is nasty and gets bitter if you cook with it),

Prochuito in leiu of missing turkey bacon.

One whole apple.

12oz calcium added OJ

32oz of water

Supposed to have a cup of green tea too but forgot to buy it.

Interesting note. I found a log I was keeping last November. Compared to measurements done today. ..

Up 10 lbs.
Abdomen is down 1in
Waist is down 2in
R thigh is down 2in
Chest is up 4.5in
Forearm up 1in
Biceps up 3in
Neck up 1.5in
Calves down 1.5in

Puts some stuff into perspective. ..
Especially them 19inch biceps :)

May 8th to today. All in all 9 pounds down from those original pics. My fault for getting sick, slipping on the diet and cardio etc.... interesting that the love handle fat on the tatted side is suddenly larger than the other.... is that by chance due to me pinning the right quad every week?

fuck dude thats a huge difference!! well done, imagine in a couple months time

I'm not looking for BS hazing... I just want to state my case and see if anyone has any positive input even if its telling me to steer clear...

I have had multiple serious injuries to my knee and back over the last couple of years, and am now sitting at about 300lbs with an estimated 33 percent body fat.

before this string of injuries, I was at 220 and roughly 13% bf.

I have just recently resumed training, having been back to the gym for about a month. I am interested in dropping this body fat as fast as humanly possible. This is why I have considered doing my first cycle, however I've seen multiple posts stating that people with high body fat should not in fact run a cycle. which I previously would have completely understood, but given my current state I'm reasonably desperate to get back into proper condition.

I willing to do whatever it is that I need to do, so my question is this...

should I just put in a good amount of time trying to get back into shape with the gym alone over the next 6-12 months , or would adding a cutting cycle be worth it to boost the process? Keep in mind that I recently had a testosterone level test done and according to the doctor he said I was still within range even though I was right at the lower limits of normal, thus would not prescribe TRT..

And IF I cycle would be worth doing, what would be a good stack to run?

Thanks in advance for your helpful feedback.

There is NO WAY you should even be considering cycling under the physiologic condition you just described for the following reasons

1) Almost all cycles will make you gain weight, if not bc of their impact on hunger alone, at least initially and those that don't are generally not that anabolic with a couple exceptions

2) AAS do not strengthen JOINTS or the JOINT CAPSULE (the fibrous layer that surrounds all joints, some more than others)

3) Bc of number 2 those who are poorly conditioned are much more prone to injury when running AAS

4) The majority of people whom are overweight lack the discipline required to acheive the benefits that are possible thru AAS use.

5) AAS should NOT be used by those whom are overweight bc of their tendency to worsen certain CV risk factors such as; an increased BP, worsening lipid profile, increased H&H and an elevated E-2 level

Interesting. .. a couple hours after a heavy back and tri's session, I stepped on the scale, was up a bit in weight obviously, end of day after all, and grabbed my bioelectric impedance bf% machine..... even being up 4lbs from last Sunday morning I was down 2.6% body fat... I'll do my actual test in the morning using my light and empty weight.... but I enjoyed seeing that, especially considering my diet has been on point all week and I have actually hit all my cardio.

I'll update in the a.m.

Thanks for following! !!!!!

Morning weight- 289 even. Really hard apparently to get lower... BUT...
Weight -2lbs
Right forearm + .5
Left forearm + .25
Right upper thigh -1
Right mid thigh -2
Left mid thigh -1
Left calf +.5
Neck +.5
Chest +.5
Shoulders +1
Waist -.5

Bf -2.1%

Body fat measured using an OMRON HBF- 306 C bioelectrical impedance measurement machine. So there's no risk in inaccurate fluctuation on my part.

By these measurements I lost 6.123 pounds of body fat, and gained 4.123 pound of lean mass... I know I've been getting my fluids in... can't imagine it being all water... but can't imagine it being all muscle tissue either.

Either way.... I am feeling a lot better about the scale not dropping as quickly as I'd like.... technically I've been fluctuating within 2lbs of my current weight for like the 6 weeks... granted missing the gym for a couple weeks and being stuck on a remote island without the best food options during most of that 2 weeks played a role.... but, I'd still like to see the scale continue to drop. I'd like to be walking around near 220 or 230... feel like I can function as a normal human around that weight lol.
