Could be (and i emphasize COULD) the fault of USPS.
i had a pack that took random trips all over the place. Shit, at one point it was marked "out for delivery" but was a good 4-5 hour drive away from me.
On that particular occasion, i called USPS to see what was up, the guy told me that the pack had the wrong zip code on it and he would get ahold of this other processing center and blah, blah, blah.
Fast forward a week and my pack is in hand, the shipping info was spot on, no wrong zip code as the postal worker claimed.
Maybe they couldn't read it because it wasn't written in crayon?
But, anywho. That was my experience. Hopefully yours is the same and it will touchdown as soon as someone figures out it's a long ways from home.
