Hey guys, second cycle of AAS, starting today.
re-filtered some #FloaterGate2020 test.
3 years in the gym 5 days a week, about 45m-1h a trip
the formula goes (Monday-Friday respectively):
Chest, Shoulders, Back, Arms, Legs (Ab work on shoulder and arm days)
cardio twice a week

stats:
Age: 29
Weight: 205lbs
Height: 5'10
BFP: 10%

Food:
I might catch heat for this one but I go with the flow and just CONSUME.
I eat fairly clean but balance is my key to staying sane. so Ice cream and hot pockets are
not completely off the table.
I drink 200g of protein a day.

My cycle looks like this:
weeks 1-16: test 500mg/week (might up it if i feel the need to)
week 3-8: hCG 1000iu/week
week 11-16: hCG 1500iu/week
week 10-16: Anavar at 30-50mg a day (never ran anavar so not sure what dose will work with me)

PCT:
week 20-21: Nolva 40mg/day, Clomid 50mg/day, DAA 2-3g/day.
week 22-23: Nolva 20mg/day, Clomid 25mg/day, DAA 2-3g/day.

Looking forward to yall guys's input

Seems to me you need to learn to eat real foods that contain protein like chicken , steak, eggs and fish. These should be a staple at every meal and not just drinking all your protein.

To me a protein shake is a treat like ice cream and a hot pocket. Not something I would do daily when trying to bulk.

I think you misunderstood, or maybe my explanation wasn’t specific enough. I eat plenty of meat, greens, veggies, fruits, etc... the part about hot pockets and ice cream, what I meant was those are the treats, not the bulk of my diet. I guess I should have specified that I meant my diet is not 100% clean. More like 90%.

Edit: any input on the AAS usage?

I think you confused us when you typed...
I drink 200g of protein a day.

Is this a typo or are you really drinking 200 g of protein a day? Like 200 g of protein powder shit. I do like a nice protein shake with a banana and some mango, but that's about 60 g of protein and some carbs. I eat the other 240 g a day.

If drinking all that was your solution to reaching your protein goals then that sounds like an issue.

I've done the "I'm just gonna eat plenty" diet and I definitely grew. Its how I built 95% of the muscle I'm carrying. When I started weighing food and logging everything I ate is when I became happy with my physique.

no typo, i bring about 140g to work, split it up between my 3 breaks and meals, then 60g before bed.

How much protein are you eating?

You'll definitely get big if you are getting enough protein and calories. I don't know if you'll get the physique you want.

If you stay around 10% BF and don't really watch macros and shit, then consider yourself blessed.

Being a little older and having a healthy appetite, I have to be careful as fuck if I wanna be anywhere near 10%. Left to my own devices, I look like a mid 80s pro wrestler w/ 20% ish BF.

Cleaner eating seems to help my digestion as well and general GI health.

Here's my typical diet guys:
mon-fri:
morning(5:30am): 2 scoops of super greens, 1 pc of fruit, 40g protein shake.

first break at work(9:15am): as much trail mix and fruit as i can fit in my gullet lol

Between first break and lunch (10:30am): 40g of protein shake

Lunch(11:30am): left overs (steak, chicken, rice, veggies, etc)

Between lunch and last break(1:30pm): 60g protein

Last break(2pm): something small like yogurt or granola bars

***Workout at 3:15***

get home, chill out and get diner ready.

Dinner(6pm): steak, chicken, veggies, rice, etc. etc.

Before bed(9:15pm) 60g of protein shake.

Edit: Weekends:
morning: 6-8 whole eggs
Lunch: a sandwhich or something
Dinner: the usual, steak, chicken, veggies, rice, etc. etc.

rinse and repeat

thoughts?

im a recovering addict whos appetite took a real hard hit because of past drug use. Long story short, i have to make myself eat the way im eating. and im always active from 6am-6pm mon-fri. I burn calories lol
maybe i am blessed...

you're eating 2 meals, a granola bar, and trail mix. Eat more.

You need more lean proteins and less powder. Just more food in general.

Cod or tilapia. Smash it. 8 or 10 ounces in a meal. Ground turkey, chicken Breast, Egg whites, lean ground beef.

Catbs: Sweet potatoes, red potatoes, rice, wheat pastas, don't fear some decent bread for carbs.

Your cycle will be as good as your fuel.

Note: I'm not looking down on you or anything, man. Just trying to give you the best advice I know to help you have a successful cycle. I'm assuming you are trying to bulk up a bit.

Thanks for the advice. I will think about what you’ve said. I personally don’t worry about the number of meals as much as staying fueled up. I heard “noshing” (that’s what I call eating a small meal) is good for digestion and absorption of nutrients. Thoughts on this?

OK gents, I've been doing my research on food and diet!
here's my needs:

TO MAINTAIN
Calories
2,947

Macros
Fat: 93g
Protein: 195g
Carbs: 295g

TO GAIN 1lb/week (High Protein)
Calories
3,447

Macros
Fat: 88g
Protein: 294g
Carbs: 391g

***my research continues***
I will be looking into (heavily) how to eat right and get these gains!
Thanks guys for poking and prodding me into doing this.

Edit: far from complete. Still much research to be done. numbers may change.
but so far, how do these numbers look to you?

just remember that # will continually need to be adjusted as your weight goes up. You’ll need to recalculate weekly for continued weight gain.

agreed with the others in regards to protein drinks. I tend to only use them when I need to fill the remainder of my protein intake for the day. That’s usually only 6g-10g of protein powder. 99% of the time I won’t need a protein shake.

Followed and looking forward to your cycle

Good advice that I will follow, after doing some research I’ve learned I’m probably knocking my protein goals wayyyyy out of the park, as well as fats and cals. But carbs... woof... so I’ll dial back the protein shakes and dial in more carb rich food

Any opinions on the website below for macro calculations?

lots of free apps in the App Store for IOS and Android. I like My Macros +.

only nitch with it is the barcode scanner is always off. I have to input them manually 80% of the time.

Myfitnesspal works pretty well for meal tracking. Barcode scanner works well.

Glad you are taking diet seriously. And as with all things just strive for improvement. You may have trouble hitting your macros or goals but just keep working on it. It's all about progress brother. Progress not perfection.....you may have heard that somewhere else as well.

I have this already, man this app does everything haha
Thanks for the encouraging words, I'm trying :)

Today’s Macros, and this is without doing food math, just eating what I normally do just more of it. Protein’ll be straight after a shake and some peanut butter later tonight.

Eat. Your. God. Damn. Cals.

Several people have said it and you’re not the first to try this. Get rid of about 120g worth of protein shake (2-3 scoops a day is PLENTY) and find a way to eat more whole food.

I promise you the results will speak for themselves.
