44 years old and need help

the man needs to go low carb and get back in the gym, its simple

I dont think he even needs a GLP because hes never been fat before and doesn't have an addiction to food.

maybe TRT if you know what youre doing. since youve done cycles before I guess you do...
After doing a ton of reading, it's just going to be TRT and Tirz for probably the next 6-12 months. I'm going to start with a 1000 cal deficit and just get the diet dialed in. In the past week I've been doing 1 hour training and 1 hour on the bike at night. Macros are mostly protein (150g) and lower carbs.

My natural test level is in the toilet and likely under 300 ng/dl because I had to come off after the accident (long story). The TRT will help with this.

I'm not going to run HGH because I can't really afford it and I don't know much about it.

Thank you brother.

First of all, man, it´s great that you´re recovered from the accident!
From that question it seems you might maybe need a coach more than AAS, so your approach to that matter seems very reasonable! Maybe invest on some proper coach who will help you build the foundations and knowledge you´ll need later on to maintain or grow the physique you want.
Good luck!
Yes, I'm glad I survived it too but man it has turned my life upside down. I'm slowly working towards getting it all back. Thing are looking up.

When I get back to work soon, I will have more funds to possibly hire a coach. For the next year the plan is just to slowly lose the weight. I'm already down 2 lbs from last week.

Thank you brother.

Can I ask a stupid question? I've had another forum specializing in carnivore and fasting tell me just to go on a long term water fast for 30 days. I know that I have the will power to fast for 30 days, but what would that do to my metabolism? And yes I'd probably burn off more muscle as well, but I'm already skinny fat, so it's not like I have much to lose at this point. I just want the fat off as fast as possible. I really don't want to go this route, but if it's faster than I might consider it.

I will check out discounted labs. I will investigate the TRT route and it looks like I will need to order enough Test C to stay on TRT dosages for at least a year.

Edit: Also, thanks for the reply and the info. I've ordered a full panel from discounted labs

Start off with a 24-hr water-only fast once a week and 72-hr water-only once a month and see how you do. Trying to go for 30 days is risky without medical advice…

yeah TRT is important for you, forget the coach, waste of money, they aren't magic. You don't need to pay a guy to tell you to eat less in an email once per week.

I don't think you'll have as much trouble as you think dude, like I said, just starting moving again and not eating junk will do most of the work.

IMO GLPs are for like people who have been obese their whole lives and struggle with food.

you know what to do, its just going to take time, again, do not push too hard by being impatient, you will end up lowering your BMR too much and you might have difficulty losing weight on 1500kcal a few months in.

Tirz has a number of positive benefits including lipids, mood stability and addictive behaviors in general. It's even being trialed for cocaine use disorder. It's a pretty cool drug Not just for land whales.

It all starts with blood test results, figure out what's up with the Thyroid first, then look at Test levels. Have to know your estrogen levels before you start worrying about gyno. I also do sauna and cold plunge every day of the week. 20 minutes in 210-degree dry sauna, then 4 minutes in 49-degree cold plunge, back in the sauna for 30 minutes. Toweling off the sweat when it builds up. That has ignited my metabolism. Combined with the right macros, gnat's ass following the diet and workout plan. In two years went from 226#'s and 24.7% body fat to on the stage competing for the first time at 218#'s and 5.2% Body Fat. 52 years old...

Hi,

After a major car accident and recovery, I've gained like 50 lbs of fat and having trouble losing it. Apparently being in bed for about 7 months recovering, I've lost a lot of lean mass, so my metabolism is very slow. I'm basically skinny fat and probably in the obese category sadly.

My stats: 44M - 235 lbs - 5'10". I haven't run a cycle in over 10 years and haven't been to a gym in about 2 years due to recovering and honestly there is some depression and laziness as well.

What can I do to restart my metabolism and get on the pathway back to good health? Most days I'm just so tired. I've started walking around the neighborhood for about 30-60 mintues a day but it is very taxing. Next week I'm going to join a gym and start doing resistance training.

I don't think AAS can help me right now as I'm trying to cut not bulk. I'm thinking I could order some GLP1. I even ordered some test a few months back but don't think I will run it because it will just convert to estro because of the fat I'm carrying ?

I've often thought I was low-T, but I have a pretty good libido and don't have any issues with erections. I did come back on the low side for testosterone on a panel about a year ago, but another doc said I was normal at 650 ng/dl. I don't know if the doc is full of shit or not. And I don't really trust doctors after the covid mess.

Current Diet for this week: 100g protein with low fat and moderate carbs from rice or fruit everyday. Meals are mostly tuna, rice, and fruit (apples or oranges).

Thanks in advance if you read all of that and can provide some tips

There’s a lot to unpack here.

Sorry to hear you’ve been struggling, but it’s a great sign that you’re keen to sort things out. In itself, that’s something you should be happy about!!

Personally, I don’t think you should get on gear to lose weight - high bodyfat and AAS can easily go sideways.

I recommend checking out this short YouTube video about a bloke that tried every diet and ended up losing the weight very simply -

And here is one on the same channel about being ’skinny-fat’ -

I’m cheering for you mate! I really hope you get back on top.

So, 6 weeks later, how are things going?
