44 years old and need help

do some research pal, ffs ,(its so individual ) theres sooo much info on that subject on these forum threads etc, come on we don't "spoon feed" around here,,,,
No problem. I’ve been reading personal accounts of wellness doses, usually between 2 and 4iu, which makes sense. I was just asking for other people’s thoughts. Thanks anyway

F all this b’s being thrown around here.

He needs to do 72 hr fast with just water then stick to a calorie deficit w exercise any! then let’s see what he has after we reset insulin sensitivity.

He’s on a harm reduction board for mainly aas asking about diet?

Start working out first for a good bit before u worry about sups.

And your training ? Start with a f’ing soup can and bands like I did after my spinal cord injury.

Even 2 iu will make a difference at his age. 4iu being "optimal" for the extra something not just replacement dosage
I am following your lead- got started with 2iu about a week ago. How long did it take before you started noticing the progress, and how did it feel for you?

In the 1 month mark hair grew faster
In 3 months a little bit of nails and skin was better
6 months 3 of them at 4iu ate a bit more no fat gain even some little loss

Already too much talking on this topic.

Test+Tirz+Hgh

The holy grail...that's all.
telling him to take HGH is ridiculous..
HGH is not a magic fat loss supplement
especially compared to a GLP or test

"hey guys Im 50lbs overweight because i haven't been working out or even moving at all"
"take hgh to lose the fat"
dumb
not to mention...
1. he's not taking AAS
2. Hasn't been lifting
3. hasn't been dieting

this whole "everyone needs to take HGH because its magic and has no downsides" is out of hand.

the man needs to go low carb and get back in the gym, its simple

I dont think he even needs a GLP because hes never been fat before and doesn't have an addiction to food.

maybe TRT if you know what youre doing. since youve done cycles before I guess you do...

Personally I would take a testosterone dose I have experience with, dial in that estrogen, get back to lifting and do low carb, basically keto, monitor fasting blood sugar with a glucometer to track your progress, im assuming you had a healthy maybe even highly functional metabolism before this, so tracking your glucose will track your progress of becoming more insulin sensitive and get back to getting your metabolism functional.

Ive been in a similar situation and it took about 6 months to correct my metabolism back to high firing.

another thing I can say for sure, do not cut your calories too low too quick, you will mess up your metabolism even more. you want to get back quick and starve yourself, but the body wants homeostasis, if you cut at like sub 2000 calories youll lose weight for like 4 weeks and stall and have to go even lower and repeat. I made this mistake, and had to eat high calories for a month to correct it and do it over again and my metabolism responded again when I cut more.

just eat healthily , dont make huge calorie changes or starvation, then see how much weight you lose just being in the gym and not eating crap in bed. Once you get this baseline without being starving, you can adjust.

also 100g of protein is low. do 200g. when you move onto keto/more lower carb, then you'll have to increase this protein a lot as your carbs reduce.

I repeat, do not starve yourself right out the gate. eat healthy foods as your hunger dictates (within reason) and adjust from there. If youre not a naturally fat person, you will be able to lose the weight just moving and lifting.

you need to do a lot of reading on here or other bodybuilding forums about diet, do not read things about diet on the open internet, because it is B.S written by lonely winos, someone selling you something or just clickbait garbage

Your post is a healthy mix of rant and good advice!

How do I eat right? What is a good diet for my situation? What should the macros be?

I've never been skinny fat until this car accident situation. :(
First of all, man, it´s great that you´re recovered from the accident!
From that question it seems you might maybe need a coach more than AAS, so your approach to that matter seems very reasonable! Maybe invest on some proper coach who will help you build the foundations and knowledge you´ll need later on to maintain or grow the physique you want.
Good luck!
