Just a litte history. I will be turning 53 next week. I am 5-9 185 lbs. I have maintained this weight for the most part for many years. However I have noticed that my BF has risen therefore I am losing muscle. I am very active as I run and cycle regularly. I have also spent time in the gym most of my adult life. I had blood work done Friday and still await my test levvels.
If my Dr. suggest TRT than I will certainly go that route. However is maintaing "normal" testosterone levels enough to allow an older man to gain muscle, provided rest, diet and excercise are adaquate ? If levels are in the normal range and he doesn't suggest TRT, would a Cycle of AAS or two allow me to add muscle ?
PS. I have no known health issues.
Thanks
