AAS and Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Function

I put together an AI generated theoretical risk profile for AAS regarding renal and cardiovascular risks. Based on mechanism of toxicity and mechanism of action and metabolism. Grok gets the credit. This is just FYI and for theoretical purposes. Interesting nonetheless. Use Excel on PC for best viewing. Easier to spread apart the columns.I attached an Excel download and also a onedrive link: AAS_Bodybuilding_Risk Renal csv.csv.xlsx

It’s been 15 years since the original posts / articles. We’ve come a long way. With aggressive lipid and blood pressure management, widespread use of testing / treatment for OSA, and attention to detail like not bulking to 300 lbs, many of these effects can be mitigated.

I have to agree there, the amount of muscle people are bulking cant be compensated by our system and organs, thats why professional Bodybuilding is kinda unhealthy and dangerous.

I agree. When I was younger I had this personal delusion that the bigger I could get my body, the better. Now that I am in 50's, I regret some of that. At some point it becomes about longevity and less about being as huge as I possibly could be. Plus my body frame was not designed to be super large. And I do not to mean to disregard any bodybuilder that is able to maintain very large physique and their health. I hope everyone to be healthy and God Bless in all of our journeys.
