@Ghoul I know some doctors are big on labs. Did you run frequent bloods?
No, I had a liver function test towards the end as part of a routine physical and it wasn't elevated.
This incidence of non-temporary liver issues caused by isotretinoin is exceedingly low.
I'm not saying. it's not a good idea, but knowing I had no preexisting liver problems and the very low probability of issues made me comfortable skipping them. I also don't drink alcohol or use oral AAS.
Some docs now run bloods before starting to ensure there aren't any issues, and no further checks after that.
