.....annnd we're off!

Hey! I'm squatting and benching twice a week and DL once. @masterspower programmed me. I'm doing things I've never done before like pulling from blocks and also at deficit. Also moving from conventional to sumo because it just seems like the right thing to do since I'm so short. I'm benching on boards one day and doing paused on the other. Also lots of squatting. Increasing the number of reps at 240 in 6 sets one day + paused squatting and the next squat day is 6x2 at that same weight. Because I'm vain I also work in ass day twice a week, one after a squat day and one after DL and ab day 2-3 times a week after a squat day and both bench days. Also 2 short 15-25 min HIIT sessions squeezed in wherever I can fit them.

And on the 7th day I allow myself to be a 50 year old woman and binge watch Ozark or The Office. I was doing House of Cards but since that's reality now it's less fun.

Oh and yes I am looking to maintain my weight. Not gain.

This is my 3rd cycle with mast. It's my favorite compound so far. Bloat is minimal if at all and I tend to get more vascular with every cycle. Strength gains are pretty solid too. I'm dosing slightly higher than before (10mg e3d) but even in my past cycles I inched it up towards the end. Tick tock! :) excited for the gains!

Are you injecting sub q or intra muscular? 10mg is 0,1cc.. I wouldn't like to pin my muscle only for such low amount of oil :D

Ahhhh good point. Sub q. I haven't pinned IM since my first "pinning compound"? For lack of a better word. You're right. Too much bother for too little amount!
 
I am certainly very lucky to have all the support and mentors that I do. If I didn't have your help I'm sure I would have slipped a disc or dropped my uterus on the platform somewhere.

I have seen it come out of both ends on the platform as well as projectile vomiting but I've never seen any lady parts escape from a singlet before.

I have however seen a few "women" who appeared to severely strain their nuts while competing but that is a different topic altogether.
 
She tells me year ago, "I think I'm going to try a meet".. She works harder, lifts heavier than some 25- 35 year old men in our gym. When her stats came out.. Wow.

Are you going to do the upcoming meet with her? I've seen you in the videos and thought we were about the same size. Had you somewhere between 190 and 200.

You are fucking thick for 165. I know you are just getting started powerlifting but I think you would be really competitive right now.
 
All three of her lifts hit international elite status in her class at her only meet OGH!

She definitely caught my attention with those lifts , it wasnt that long ago I was working out with those poundages. And I was alot heavier than 125lbs !
My lifts go to crap when I lose weight or lift at a lower bodyweight .

I saw a young man in his mid 20's, about 165 pounds, pull 495 for a triple off the floor. I thought to myself "thats what I need to do".. I'm going to be lifting off for her. I'm aways from being able to handle someone.

We had this discussion at the gym on Sunday. Men poop and women pee. I know my nose has dripped before when I've bent over the bar to pull. We humans are such disgusting creatures lol.

May is a good target. Gives you plenty of time to prepare. Don't worry about cutting weight for your first one. Come in strong at 165 and put up some numbers to shoot at going forward.

We are in good shape for November. You lift off and load for warm ups and give her the in person support. I can set her warm up attempts and approximately when she should take them. Should go smoothly just like the first one did. If your daughter makes it over that should help as well.

But really, how many people are going to show in my age weight bracket? Not many at this particular meet. I'm curious as to how well my numbers will stack up. Looks like I'm 74 pounds total from master right now.. I'm about 60 days in or so now.

Should be 40-44 and 45-49 in USPA. Keep dialing in your form and working hard. Don't worry too much about the numbers at this stage. The numbers will come.

Powerlifting is about constantly trying to improve yourself. I've worked with a lot of lifters and the one I was most proud of was a women who was a decent squatter and deadlifter (not in Wendy's league but still solid). She couldn't bench at all. Her leverages aren't good for benching and her form wasn't great, add to that she didn't like doing it.

We worked hard on bench for an entire 10 week training cycle and her form improved a ton. On meet day she set a 2.5 kilo PR after having competed for 8 years prior. The bench was still under a hundred pounds but I was thrilled for her and super proud because I knew how much she had busted her ass to get those extra 5+ pounds. That is what powerlifting is all about in my opinion.
