*Another* MESO-Rx Ranking System

Good lord, I gotta dead hang 3 more minutes to make it to elite. Was at 112s this morning.
112 x 137/1000 = 15.3

Still more achievable than raising my comment count though lol.
I am absolutely sure you can do better, try to relax your mind when you hang, I know it might sound stupid but it takes away the first 90-120 seconds if you close your eyes and don't think much about time but more like a stretch for your back ;)
(That's it I just given away a pro tip, let the floodgate begin, by tomorrow I will see everyone hanging 5-6 minutes)

He says to a type A personality :) Seriously, I’ve failed so many polygraphs because of this. It would be easier to feel every excruciating moment and just fight my way to 5 minutes than to clear my mind. Maybe I’ll put a podcast on or a murder show.

Love the attitude, I’ll be duking it out with you!
Perfect! All I wanted was a battle buddy.
I’d argue no chalk as the whole test is grip strength. As opposed to using chalk on a deadlift where no one cares about your grip strength, it’s how much can you lift.
Does the chalk really negate the grip strength test? I thought it was mostly a matter of minimizing slippage / absorbing whatever moisture put off by hands. Idk.

Either way fine with me but did just want to clarify for fairness sake before I enter my time capsule and begin the training process.

I think at some point it starts to. If I could put spider tack (the stuff pitchers would use for baseballs) it would at that point basically just come down to how much my tendons can take because I’m never letting go on that bar.

Extreme example obviously, but I think part of it is how much you can overcome the slippage/etc.

Similarly though, I’m happy to do whatever. That’s just my two cents, I imagine my score would jump fairly dramatically just by throwing in chalk.

Definitely adds some time there at the end when the grip starts to loosen. I vote for whatever you guys want to do within reason. Next we will get into the allowed coefficient of friction between hands and bar, smoothness of bar, etc. Haha.

Looking forward to it. I'll try again this weekend with an all out effort.
