thats nicest thing ive seen in long time (except butts ofc... and camel toes...anyway...)
i think you just won mateBW: 275 today. I lasted 80 seconds. She was disappointed. But I explained it was actually a PR.
My wife would of threw a party if I lasted that long! Wait, not sure that reads like I mean it to.BW: 275 today. I lasted 80 seconds. She was disappointed. But I explained it was actually a PR.
Good lord, I gotta dead hang 3 more minutes to make it to elite. Was at 112s this morning. It is true that lighter people would have a massive advantage on this.
Formal submission or are you just bragging? Submit a score to let me know it is a dead hang result. Otherwise please submit the proper equation and Elite range on the other thing xD.BW: 275 today. I lasted 80 seconds. She was disappointed. But I explained it was actually a PR.
Can the answer be both?Formal submission or are you just bragging? Submit a score to let me know it is a dead hang result. Otherwise please submit the proper equation and Elite range on the other thing xD.
Gotta make sure we keeping the integrity of the athletic contest.
I am absolutely sure you can do better, try to relax your mind when you hang, I know it might sound stupid but it takes away the first 90-120 seconds if you close your eyes and don't think much about time but more like a stretch for your backGood lord, I gotta dead hang 3 more minutes to make it to elite. 112 x 137/1000 = 15.3
Still more achievable than raising my comment count though lol.

(That's it I just given away a pro tip, let the floodgate begin, by tomorrow I will see everyone hanging 5-6 minutes)

Love the attitude, I’ll be duking it out with you!just want to let all know that I’ll be taking the first position by the end of 2025.
Are we allowed chalk?
Perfect! All I wanted was a battle buddy.Love the attitude, I’ll be duking it out with you!
Does the chalk really negate the grip strength test? I thought it was mostly a matter of minimizing slippage / absorbing whatever moisture put off by hands. Idk.I’d argue no chalk as the whole test is grip strength. As opposed to using chalk on a deadlift where no one cares about your grip strength, it’s how much can you lift.
Leader position by score, time, or both?just want to let all know that I’ll be taking the first position by the end of 2025.
I think at some point it starts to. If I could put spider tack (the stuff pitchers would use for baseballs) it would at that point basically just come down to how much my tendons can take because I’m never letting go on that bar.Does the chalk really negate the grip strength test? Either way fine with me but did just want to clarify for fairness sake before I enter my time capsule and begin the training process.
Definitely adds some time there at the end when the grip starts to loosen. I vote for whatever you guys want to do within reason. Next we will get into the allowed coefficient of friction between hands and bar, smoothness of bar, etc. Haha.I think at some point it starts to. Extreme example obviously, but I think part of it is how much you can overcome the slippage/etc.
Similarly though, I’m happy to do whatever. That’s just my two cents, I imagine my score would jump fairly dramatically just by throwing in chalk.
