Antibiotics on hand

@slyfox115 ive used for a few different types of infections. Typically penicillin being my goto. Works for me. Doesn’t mean it will for you or anyone else. But I definitely don’t see it being a bad thing having that shit on hand, get an infection give it a day or two on your antibiotics if it worsens or gets better then you have your answer, I’m no doctor tho so take it with a grain of salt
You are giving dangerous ass fucking advice.

Here’s my story I’ll repeat for the tenth time.

My first cycle led to permanent scars keloids on my chest that look like I was in a fire.

Open flesh wounds the size of a quarter

I was on : doxycycline, bactrim, topical bactrim, clindamycin, ciprofloxacin, IV daptomycin, ZYVOX. I forget the rest. Bleach baths, tea tree oil on open wounds, Manuka honey u name it.

Finally levofloxacin killed it in 4 days. This shit was so bad My chest would stick to my shirt, I’d drip milky white pus like u can’t believe, I’d wash my had and close my car door and a week later I’d have a new red welt from where I put my arm on the door after closing it. This shit hurt so bad oxycontin and Vicodin couldn’t do shit where prednisone could.

I was in a god damn hospital for 4 days straight where no one gave a fuck even tho they thought I had necrotizing fasciitis, or acne fulminans. Wound culture showed mrsa, then nothing, normal white blood cell count, pseudomonas awrginosa, they had no fuckin clue what to do.

I’m suicidal every time I have to take off my shirt and take a shower.

I have a spot in my cheek that inflames every time I start a. Cycle, an open wound on my lower back that apparently has no infection, but I’m pretty god damn sure it’s the same shit because it’s been there two years. And it’s contagious just like the last one.

Do not fucking play with antibiotics

Oh ya did I mention this all blew up within 2 weeks (after which I was already prescribed antibiotics) and lasted three months.

I can’t even tell if the new breakouts I have now are acne or infection, like the shits just sitting in my skin everywhere.

I’m no pouring 99 percent isopropyl alcohol on my open wound hoping it will dry it, I quit smoking also Over this shit.

Here’s another reason not to take: oh ur allergic to penacillin, take keflex instead! Nope same drug class and there’s a crossover rate to allergic side effects. Yeah.

They are not cold medicines which alleviate inflammation and congestion.
They Start deep within the dna and stop these bugs from replicating all the way down to the cell

Using antibiotics without a wound culture or skin biopsy? Russian roulette. Great way to give yourself MRSA. Search that one up! Yeah. People who have been living with the shit for 10 plus years that are resorting to. Other shit because doctors don’t know what to tell them.

I told myself for the longest time not a damn thing in this world would stop me from achieving this physique and nothing could take away the happiness it gave me. This shit was a window out of the life I currently had.

Boy if I had known about these fuckin infections...

Now this happiness that this shit gives me wares heavy regret on my shoulders.
It’s now a double edged sword just like everything else in my life.
I’m a very spiteful hateful bitter individual and I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy

Sounds like a shitty situation to have to deal with. So did you go to the hospital first when you started noticing symptoms or after you tried treating it yourself?

I never treated it myself I went to a dermatologist I went to about 5 then hospital then infectious disease

Yeah it’s crazy how quickly it can spread. Fever, chills, sweating, extreme throbbing pain....not going there again! Needless to say I have researched the topic extensively- almost OCD-like if you will. Sterility and injection technique are important. Shallow injections/subq often lead to cellulitis.
Not true, sub q injections does not increase the chance of cellulitis.
Poor injection technique does.

Go to the doctor. Like stated earlier, they only care about treating you, nothing else.

When I researched cellulitis infections there are a number of medical articles that point to subq and shallow IM injections as a high risk. Couple that with poor technique and you have a good recipe for infection. The takeaway is you can never be too safe.

What are those poor injection techniques you guys talk about?

I home brew and use safe sterile pinning practices but it just seems like I just have bad reactions to gear. Everything from big ugl to small ugl has given me a pretty good amount of pip if not some infection. I have read countless articles on sterility for home brewing and pinning, I still have problems. It seems like the left side of my body will get more infections! I cant understand why

Not attaining a 90 degree angle, injecing too quick, allowing needle to move around during injection, sterility, etc.
Injecting too quick, and not attaining proper angle has nothing to do with infection.
Not sure where you got this info, please post link if you have one.

Not following proper sterility protocols while injecting.

For example, not swabbing vial top or skin before injecting. Not washing your hands and not loading your insulin needles in a sterile location.

I have personally done I bet 6-700 sub q injections. I’ve injected pretty much anywhere, on different angles. Sometimes I get a shallow IM injection, depending on place, like thighs for example, so there I inject at an angle, sometimes I don’t. I also use 5/16” pins. Btw, it is best bet if you keep sub q injection to less than 1 cc. Right now I’m pinning 3 times a day. A primo test mix that is .50 cc and gh @ .15 cc 2 times.

After all these injections one day I was slack being a dumb ass and did a tri injection but didn’t use proper sterility and got cellulitis. I went to ER got antibiotics and a week later it was gone. It was completely stupid on my part. First off I had stopped using alcohol wipes for about 2 years, I would just inject right out of the shower, and this particular time I was putting medication on my feet for athletes foot, had not done a tri injection for a while, pressed on the skin to see where to pin then injected thru my skin that now had athletes foot bacteria on it. Immediately after I injected I thought, fuck, I just gave myself an injection, that was stupid, then prayed I was wrong, but wasn’t.

Anyhow be sterile. Do not become lax just because you haven't got an infection fir years or ever, lol, or you will be explaining to the er doctor why you are a dumb ass. He told me quote unquote, “it happens”
