I did realize that. and Im not sure how or why you didn't quote the whole post. but the first line reads "the obama administration appears to have taken away yet another terrorism-fighting tool away from u.s. law enforcement trying to screen syrian refugees." it seems policy makers are making it harder for law enforcement agencies to do their job by not allowing them to ask simple questions. both are part of the "us government". so again, who is aware? of what.

There has been shootings at schools and a movie theater by white Americans, America having a 70-83% Christian population I think it is fair to say that Christians are out of control with the shootings in America. Do you not find that fair to say?

The answer to all those questions is violent jihad. And if Suleiman's invasion of Europe hadn't been stopped at the gates of Vienna in 1529, and the Ottoman's again at the Battle of Vienna in 1683, and Europe had fallen to Islam, there would have been no Enlightenment, there would have been no Renaissance, and an Islamic Europe would have never gotten out of the Dark Ages.
Thankfully Europe didn't fall and civilization got its break. The Enlightenment allowed science and philosophy and art to flourish and Europe got strong. Strong enough that Europeans were able to drive the Islamic threat all the way back to the Middle East, and for the most part they've kept it suppressed there to this day.
But make no mistake: Islam hasn't gone away and it hasn't changed from the days when Muhammed was conquering and raping and pillaging and molesting 9-year-old girls, and it hasn't changed from the time of its violent expansion. Islam today is what Islam has always been: A violent supremacist ideology dedicated to the goal of world domination.
So yeah, there's some Western influence in the Islamic world today, and maybe if there was a hell of a lot more of it, we wouldn't have the barbarism we see today with the stonings and amputations, child marriage, the subjugation of women and female genital mutilation. Unfortunately, Europeans have short memories and they easily forget the horrors of the past; and now they're determined to invite Islam into the West with open arms.

Its a tragic situation in Syria but why are they running? Im muslim myself and in Islam youre not suppose to be a coward and run away from someone who is kicking you out of your home unless theres no way to fight back. I dont get why they dont arm these Syrians to fight back or something like when the communists attacked afghanistan the Usa armed the afghans and the soviets withdrew. Youre telling me isis is more powerful than the soviets hahaha. I know they are being murdered severely but they have to fight back. I know that it also resulted in a lot of weapons falling into the wrong hands in afg but the decline of afghanistan was because of a shitty, corrupt government that couldnt decide on things fairly. And why isnt Saudi Arabia or neighboring muslim countries not letting these refugees stay there for a period of time until they can get Syria under control?! The "muslim" leaders in the middle east suck [emoji53]. Those neighboring countries should be ashamed for not helping. And i would be perfectly fine with talking and being around the Syrians that come here.

Most critics of Islam have probably never even read an entire chapter of the Quran. Mike Tyson at age 15 beat a 29yr old amateur boxer and at age 11 could bench 200lbs [emoji23]. I had a friend at age 11 with a beard mustache and he weighed 145lbs at around 5'7". The first day of school we thought he was the substitute teacher. At 11 years old he looked older than most 20 year olds. Im sure some of us heard about the kid with 3 college degrees at age 13, he goes to a college near me. Some mature quicker than others. And 18yr old girls in America (the gold diggers) haved dated guys in their 50s and older as well yet its still legal. And about the sex slaves theres actually no proof that Muhammad had any so idk where you got that from. Didnt president Lincoln have them? And many of the early presidents? Slavery existed all over the world and many rich people had sex slaves whether they be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or any other religion. Slavery wasnt a good thing but it existed everywhere. Can you please give an example of when he pillaged lands?? It clearly states in hadiths by Muhammad to not pillage and destroy lands/crops and to not harm women and children during war. He never raped anyone can you show me multiple historic documents of it please? Are you pulling these things off another website?
These "rebels" are under REAL OPPRESSION. Egyptians werent being mass murdered by Gaddafi. Assad didnt cause the problems ISIS has caused. Saddam was a nut job who was put in power by the West because he opposed Iran and wanted Shias dead. The solution is to help the people WHO ACTUALLY NEED IT. You could have easily came up with that on your own but you only made this post because you hate me because I am muslim and i am defending islam.
And im not arguing about this anymore i dont have 8 hours to explain all these answers, you guys are grown adults and can come up with answers on your own through legitamite research through primary sources, even if i prove you wrong you will still be ignorant. If you feel western influence is the primary cause or at least a catalyst of these conflicts, why do you propose more western involvement as a solution? I still don't understand who you are in favor of supporting at this point either. Syrian government? Putin has it covered then if you feel this is the solution. Are you proposing arming moderate rebel group/s to fight Assad's government and IS at the same time?
That kind of western involvement would just exacerbate these problems, would it not? You stated as much earlier...

Western involvement was the problem because they go and, for the most part, back the wrong people up. They caused it they should fix it. They caused isis and the mass murders of these Syrians resulted so they should fix it. Again, you knew this is what i meant but you still brought it up just to make yourself sound smart. If they gave the right fucking people weapons then none of this shit woulda happened.
