Aveed/Nebido- testosterone undecanoate

Been reading up about this and curious if anyone on trt or otherwise is on it or tried? Is this something ugl's can make or offer?

Aveed: A Newly Approved, Slow Acting Injectable Testosterone

Recently, the US FDA approved injectable testosterone undecanoate (2014). Endo Pharmaceuticals will market it under the brand name Aveed. Testosterone undecanoate has actually been available under the brand name Nebido for over 10 years outside the US. Testosterone undecanoate is very slow acting. The drug provides a sustained release of testosterone into the bloodstream for up to 10 weeks.

In its Phase 3 Study, treatment with AVEED 750 mg maintained T levels in the normal range over 10 week dosing interval.6,14 The figure below illustrates T levels after the third injection. While testosterone undecanoate does not raise levels above normal, testosterone injections of TU still do not mimic physiologic dosing.

Im pretty sure the pharmacist has it....saw it on his price list not long ago. Never tried it...too long of an ester for me. But if your gonna get it from anywhere, I would get it from the pharmacist.

I just got some from a UGL, it's in a castor oil base. I haven't tried it yet, but have serious doubts about 10 week intervals. I think I'll cruise at 400mg every 2 weeks and see how blood work comes out.

I'm on Nebido, been on it since November 2014 and personally I don't like it. It's the main form of trt in the UK now,and probably most of Europe.

Most people seem really happy with it, it just takes a LONG time to build up and that's the hardest part for me, dealing with low T symptoms for such a long time. Takes about 2 weeks after injection for me to start feeling good, but after just 2 weeks of feeling good, I'm back with low test symptoms and that's what has forced me into UGL testosterone.

As I say, most people are really happy with it after a few injections, but for me my levels are still dropping far too quick. On paper it's ideal, and most people say it's life changing, it's just difficult dealing with the time it takes to build up.

Would you dose EQ once every 10 weeks? Cuz I know I damn sure wouldn't. Long ester or not there's no way you're maintaining stable levels for that period of time.

That's the main complaint I see about it by people who haven't used it (myself included before I went on it), but it's the caster oil base that helps the ester release so slowly. People are going from 30-40nmol peaks to 20-25nmol troughs over 8-10 week injection protocols. E2 conversion is very low, I think I've only heard of one person from the UK with high E2 on it, so he injects 200mg every 2 weeks and loves the stuff now. Everyone else seems to have good test levels, and low E2 numbers injecting 1000mg every 8-12 weeks. I'm one of the unlucky ones unfortunately, and test levels drop too quick.

Not sure what your plans are but if you're planning on running it as TRT, there's a specific protocol. Nebido requires a loading phase, so going by the book you inject 1000mg first off, then another 1000mg 6 weeks later. Next injection is 10-12 weeks later, then you measure your trough level just before your next (4th) injection at 10 weeks and adjust from there.

Forgot to mention, there should be no need for an AI with this stuff either. Unless you're using HCG then I'm not sure how much that changes things. I saw a study recently that fertility numbers were very good using this stuff straight with no HCG, and less atrophy of the nuts. On paper it looks great, but for me it hasn't been so far.

I dont plan to follow the nebido protocol, I plan on slowly switching from test E to to Test U and mixing the compounds during the transition. I think that test U is only 60% test, and 40% ester, so I'll bump up the ml a little bit.
My goal was to have an ester I could get 2 to 3 weeks out of between pins on special occasions, like traveling out of the country or going on back country expeditions for weeks at a time. I don't anticipate needing to go longer than 3 weeks between pins.

I never used the stuff, still have the vials in my stash. I got a bunch of test E that checked out with bloods, so I've just stuck with that.
