BioLogic Pharmaceuticals

Thanks for the insight on the proper use of Deca, guys. I think I'll just run it the first half of my cycle.

EDIT: Also, I started my first tabs of Anavar from Bio tonight. I have a pretty good stomach bloat/gas going right now from 20mgs. I know that the Anavar Bio submitted passed Labmax, but I didn't think Anavar usually caused gas/bloat... anyone else have this experience with Bio Anavar?

Now you are talking! Have not been to the range in a year. Gonna fix that. I really need to get some long gun training.

Sold my Para ordinance custom 45 to fund my store. Had tritium night sites. It was f2f and jamming.

Sent it back to the MAN himself, Travis Tomassi. He worked on it, sent it back, and it was still malfunctioning1-2 times every 100 rounds I sent down range. That is part of why I sold it. My friend Mark, owns a gun store and makes custom AR's told me it would take 3k rounds to break in.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL gun. Even so, I lost my faith in it. Next gun will possible be a Para double stack 45 or an XD.

honestly, PC...
i would stick with HK's (my preferred) and Sig's for pistols.

i have a few custom 1911's, 2011's STI dbl stack's, and Para's set up for pin shooting. Problem with Para's... after you buy them they need sent to a Smith to get stripped and rebuilt with quality parts. The Para double stack frame is the only note worthy part. Out of the box... the trigger is like rowing a boat!
XD's... same category as the Glunk... paperweight.

however, for combat and protection... HK's just don't fail. salt water... desert and beach sand.... they just keep working!! Hit a show and look for the Expert or tactical.

if you really feel froggy look for a P7M8. great concealable firearm... i call it the Rolex of the gun world. Kinda pricy now a days.

l whole heartedly agree... if you can't rely on your equipment... get rid of it. It could get you or your Team killed one day.

the above are my opinions. I know GUNtalk gets heated... my experiences dictate what equipment i use and rely on. :)

Im going to agree. Para's always felt good in my hand- until I had to break them down at the range necause they kept jamming. Kimber is nice but not flawless. Sig is rop notch and h&k makes a fine pistol as well....
As far as hitting a price point glock has the "ak" of pistols- you can get a g21 high capacity .45 for less than 700 that will never fuck up. I have a glock .40 I probably put 6000 rounds through with no jamming- and I dont clean them because they are a pain in the ass to strip.

I hate the way my glock shoots, but I know how to handle it. I much prefer my 1911 at the range. However, like the AK, if someone breaks into my house, my glock will go "bang" every time. I've become good enough with it that I have full confidence I will hit center mass at any range I would have inside my house.

My Glock 22C is my "within arms length" house protection gun. .40SW. It's funny you say yours is hard to strip and clean; I actually feel like a monkey could field strip my glock.

There's a lot of junkies breaking into houses in my neighborhood. I'm pretty sure my dog is the reason none of them have tried their luck at my house, but if they do, they ain't going to rehab...they're going to the hospital.

I won't be taking any chances with my kids in the house.

great points fellas...

however, for house protection with families and close neighbors.

I recommend leaving the pistol and using a shotgun.

shotguns are paramount. the round stays contained in the room you are shooting in (using proper shot and loads).

as for pistols... if you plan on using for home defense... look for sub sonic frangible ammo. Less likely to go through the assailant, your house, and the neighbors. Collateral damage can put you in a dark place you don't want to be in. you guys may laugh... but besides my benelli pump... I actually have my Ruger bull barrel (.22) with red dot in the night stand. .22 will kill. and wont kill your family if you miss...
just my 2 pennies here.

best thing is proper training. letting your family know to stay quiet, hidden and low. amazing how women and children can get loud in a stressful situation. this attracts attention as well as, pulling you out of your game. use your house and low light condition (if night) to your advantage...lastly, a medium priced set of NV is a great investment.

stay safe brothers!

B,
you bring up good points that I agree with.

my issue with the glock... and this is just the way I shoot it...
I cant get clover leaf or small MOA with that brand pistol.
Center Mass is one thing... but where I came from... center mass wasn't good enough. Controlling your shots was everything. Especially in CQB.

I maybe a gun snob... but that's from shooting a lot of fine equipment over the years. It seems the more they cost... the better they shoot. not too mention it got me and my Team home after our job was done.

perfect short crisp trigger pulls with 3lbs, hand lapped slide to frame, national match barrels... all make for a more accurate pistol.

Agree 100% with the shotgun. I actually have a Remington set up like the old trench gun. It was a hand-me-down from my grandfather, but it's not an actual trench gun so it's not worth much. Great shotgun though.

I use the pistol because I can keep it in a place that I can grab it ricky-tic, but it's in a place where my young kids can't get at it if I'm not home.

It's not as easy to stash a shotgun and make it kid proof.

I do have the home defense ammo that is suppose to fragment into whatever it hits first. Hopefully, I never have to find out...

I agree with you on a shot guns, for in town or city areas, the best way to go IMO would be semi auto that way you can make sure you take out ever last one if them.. Although I do have to disagree with your .22 will not kill unless you get lucky and hit a main vein or get lucky with shooting said person in the head and it actually takes them down.. The reson I say this cause I have killed and shot a lot of wild life, raccoon a an coyotes I like to shoot with .22 cals cause I hate those fuckers and I have shot them straight in the head, in the face, pretty much all over did not die right away on any shots I took, wether they were close ups, far away, or on the run.. I always shoot cci unless I can't find them than any ammo will do, but back to my point you have a shoot out in your house with that person till they die or you both die, if you shooting with a .22 IMO, also from my experience with .22...

I had 2 Sig sp2022's. Excellent guns, have the 40 ca in my glove box right now. Never had one problem w/ either, although I sold my 9mm.

They are very inexpensive for a Sig because so many Euro police carry them.

I have heard nothing but good things about the STI.

What HK's do you own? For long guns I only have a Mossberg 12 gauge shot gun, and a Rock River AR 15. Best stock trigger around on the RR. The gun had some issues. Swapped out the cheap stock mag, replaced it w/ a Magpull, installed an Eotech optical (expensive) and it is flawless.

It's hard to beat a Colt or Kimber 1911.

Those are high end guns and sure are Purdy, but if you are referring to accuracy, than there are a lot of guns that will do the same if not better even a high point, yes they are cheaply made, but they will get the job done and accurate as hell as long as you know your gun or rifle, shot placement is the key... Nevertheless when it comes to self defense and you want to get the job done quick, 9mm and up is your best bet for being quick and efficient...

When it comes to self defense I would tell someone to carry something bigger than a 9mm. .40/.45 is really the way to go, 9mm rounds are just too hot and don't pack enough stopping power. I'm not saying a 9mm won't stop someone but your chances of stopping someone in their tracks with a .45 are much much greater. Many PD's don't use 9mm's anymore because of that issue. The rounds carry so much velocity they just keep going through whatever your shooting and could possibly hit innocent bystanders. The only time I shoot a 9mm is at the range for target practice because the rounds are cheaper for me and getting good follow up shots is much easier with the recoil. I love my G17.

I tend to stick to the higher end firearms bc that what I do on the side...peddle a little. You can always turn a high end one quick if you get in a bind.
And, I prefer .45 bc if the case arises, I will want to knock their boots off. I keep a Colt Defender loaded in my night stand & a sawed off 10 ga leaned up in the corner. If the 10 ga don't get em out of my house, the Colt sure will.
How does that saying go...
"GOD made man, but Sam Colt made them equal."

I agree with you for most people, you need to know where to hit to take the person out and know what is behind that person, AT ALL TIMES, when you take your shot.. never shoot if there are people behind that person and you do not attend to destroy them too... i do recommend 9mm as long as said person has had proper training, or just like you said .40 and .45 , but nothing bigger cause that will be hard if not impossible to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you were justified in your actions.. I know those cops had training, but that does not prove everyone can stay calm under that kind of pressure..

I agree with you, that is always a good reason to have high end guns, as well as keeping them in the best condition you can they hold a lot more value and to the right person can bring you a pretty Pennie... They sure have a lot of Purdy guns out there, I like keeping my nice guns put up and my cheap guns for defense..

PC,
I have one if not 2 of every model they make for civilian.

in addition I have a few others that require a tax stamp.

out of all of those... I find the Expert and Match to be some of the finest. as well as the P7M8 for concealed or compact carry.

smiles...
noted on .22. just don't agree. close range and multiple shots with good placement.
however, every situation is different.
with my family in the house... the shot gun and ruger are my goto...

the important thing is... they aren't getting in my house. My perimeter security rivals that of forward operating bases...on a budget.:)

Copy that.

I purchased (2) HK P7M8 Chantilly 10 years ago or so... for approx. $950.00ea
that same weapon is on Gunbroker (last time I checked) around $2k for one.

so the values are increasing when purchasing a higher end gun.
