Birthday/Summer Shred Time by BEANZ!

My gym has that same exact leg press machine...I love it!

I've been doing leg presses more in order to get my right knee rehabbed and restrengthened before I get to go back to squats.
 
Sorry I haven't been updating here that much!:( its time consuming doing everything from your phone, but I once a week when I have time at an actual computer I can dive in more.

So with that, im up a solid 8 pounds in the morning(176), and at night im hovering at 180,182 consistently . Don't think it's water, I think it's all the damn food im eating, mainly my post shake which is 1,600 calories, 131 grams of protein and 100 carbs.

It's winding down week 3 Im getting semi impatient waiting for results but I think im just being picky, however my pump is intense when im working out and I slightl started seeing my abs this morning.

Legs yesterday and I was super excited I squatted 225 x 3 with out my hips hurting. I know it sounds strange but my hips would just give out and I could barely put 35's up. but I can do 185 consistenly. Im being careful with my tendonitis in my right elbow. if I feel ANYTHING weird I stop and move on.

And im pretty sure I bruised my sternum doing flys on Wednesday cos the last 2 days were hard to breath when I sat. anywho, life is good. expect the PIP in my right quad haha

Legs yesterday and I was super excited I squatted 225 x 3 with out my hips hurting. I know it sounds strange but my hips would just give out and I could barely put 35's up. but I can do 185 consistenly. Im being careful with my tendonitis in my right elbow. if I feel ANYTHING weird I stop and move on.

Does your hip feel like it "pops" out of the socket?
 
Yeah I had a mowhak from when I was about 20 till I was 27. Then shaved it and now i was like 'I gotta get back to my roots!" It suites me my wife says

When I was in junior high I was part of a winning wrestling team , we went to state (and lost) but we ALL had mohawks and we were called the last of the Mohicans ....it was a great time .

HAHAHA you old timer, I love it. my dad been rockin the flat top as well since I was a boy. but you gotta stick with what works right lol:D
 
OH no, not that bad. essentially like my hip wont move. lets say you squatted to a chair position and that was 100%. I could only go like 25% before id start feeling major pain. been working through it.

Wait a few more yrs, its coming.

Thats why I like near ATG squats , they develop that "side-strap" on your hip , thats a stabilizer muscle that will help protect your hip from falling as you get older . Im mid-50"s and already seeing my peers with bad hip dysplasia , its not gonna happen with me , lol.

I didnt have that muscle there like that until I started going deep on squats . Leg press develops it too ...

Yeah the leg press has definetly helped alot
 
Good start saving for ball joints and tie rods (inner&outter ) now so you got the cash. Chevys are notorious for weak front end parts. Don't expect more than 30k on their life.

Rotate the tires energy 3-5k miles and you can try to make the tires last
