Black Friday shopping!

So who out there is either shopping now or going out to fight the crowds tomorrow for some Black Friday deals? I just picked up two PlayStation 4’s for one of my boys and my nephew. It was crazy, but we do it every year. It’s kindof fun. It doesn’t matter how big you are people still try to push you around, lol.

Yeah I hear you. I go in for one thing usually at a store then I’m out. I really enjoy sitting down with the wife going through all the ads. I’m her bodyguard. Lol
I do like looking at all the ads and before ever going before when I saw em, it made me excited to see some prices on stuff.

Then I went.

Now I just check the ads and don’t get that excited feeling lol

Edit: my wife hates going too, but if she didn’t I’d be like you and have to be body guard lol

Participating in Black Friday and dealing with the crowds, tension and hostility would ruin all the peace and happiness I get from spending time with my family the day before. And seeing what happens in these stores on Black Friday doesn't leave me with much interest in visiting them the other 364 days of the year either.

I completely understand bud. It’s just one time a year that I get to leave my kids with my parents and spend time with my wife doing something she enjoys. We celebrate Thanksgiving and give thanks where it deserves to be then we leave the kids at my parents and go spend some way overdue time to ourselves. Anything I get to do with my wife is a blessing and I’m all for it. It may not be the peace and happiness you look forward to but to see my wife’s smile on her face when she is spending all our money on everyone other than ourselves is priceless to me. It’s definitely not for everyone and that’s cool because if everyone was out shopping my wife wouldn’t be able to get everything she has on her list, lol.

I hope you both enjoy yourselves and she finds everything she wants. I definitely get wanting to be free of the kids for a day. A crowded retail store might even be less stressful than my daughter some days, except she would want to go with us!

black Friday is for animals and degenerates who have no idea what the meaning of Xmas is all about. No offense, and not saying this is you, but FUCK THAT! I see these videos of fights and ppl charging into stores like they're storming the beaches of Normandy and I want to just see a giant fire-hose blow them out of the stores!!

I would absolutely hurt somebody if I went out. Do it from the comfort of my home on Cyber Monday.

The exception, one day, will be appliances. When I renovate the kitchen I’m grabbing everything on Black Friday.

I hear you man. I’ve seen those videos also but fortunately we have never seen anything like that in person.
The entire time my wife and I are out on Black Friday we see the Christmas spirit everywhere. People are helping each other out and being polite, having great conversations while waiting in lines, showing and sharing the love of God. Of course there might be a select few that are mindset on getting what their son wants and they will be rude if they have to to get it, but that’s very few. Do you think you are going to see videos of how polite people are on Black Friday? That wouldn’t get any views, lol.
I’m the guy that notices every act of kindness. It is so awesome to see the way Jesus works in people even on a day as hectic as Black Friday. The true meaning of Christmas is Love. The Lords love for us is so great that on Christmas he gave us his only Son as a way to save us from ourselves and to give all that would believe in him a path to eternal life. When as many people that are out on a day like Black Friday you think there is no love being shared? Believe me, we are all Gods children and it shows even on days like Black Friday.

PS. I know you weren’t targeting me or my wife and it’s cool. But I’m the type of person that sees the good in everyone. So I had to take up for the decent folks too

It's all about where you go. When you're in decent places that cater to people with class then it's very easy to see the good in people. When you walk into a Wal-mart in any large city you better believe Satan is running the show! I'm glad you had a good day with the family dude.
