Blacktop / Meditrope ~ IGF-1 Test Results

As for fat gain not sure, rebound from my understanding is after stopping T3 for two weeks it may come back, but not to where it was prior. So just like with Testosterone you may be within range in a certain amount of time at 300 TT but when one was 800TT before the cycle he is still gonna suffer.

Thyroid comes back fine in almost all cases and from what you posted here, you're using rebound in the wrong context bc you don't know what the word means in a medical context.

Are you sure that this rebound wasn't excess glycogen and water weight? If your diet was in check there shouldn't be any fat gain within that particular time frame.

Your natural levels will return within 2 weeks. Some studies show within 3 days after discontinuing t3.

I advocate tapering but some say it's okay to not taper down because of the limited time it takes for the thyroid to recover. It's a personal preference and some like to taper and some do not. I think @Docd187123 doesn't taper. Maybe he can come in for some added anecdotal experience.

You are correct, I don't taper T3 bc there is no rebound nor would tapering help anything.

Okay. What does it mean then? I apologize as I thought rebound meant if I went one way from supplementing T3 that upon cessation it would rebound the other way for an amount of time. Also what are your thought on using T3 at say 50 mcg pre cheat meal to lessen the damage caused by the excess calories? Would this cause my thyroid to slow down more for an amount of time or would using such an amount once a week be okay?

Eman, highest I've gone is 125 this is prescription strength and after a couple days at this dose I noticed my respirations increased and heart was going pretty nicely as well.

I've never seen it not almost come back right away.
There is NO irrefutable proof of science behind a rebound from thyroid meds. None whatsoever.
I looked for in the studies and never found anything. Just figured other people found something I didn't. I'm glad you said something. Had me second guessing myself.

You want to play nice now huh?

I'd never personally go up to 125mcg, way too high for my taste. Sounds like kissing muscle goodbye.

My desire to not fuck up using these drugs and have real information out there supersedes my feelings toward any member. Hence why I won't engage in cock wagging. The knowledge gained is more important. I don't wish any member harm. Just not how I roll.

But yes 125 mcg made even tren not effective.

I didn't really notice cock wagging until you disagreed with someone about rebound... But fair enough.

I can imagine... The highest I've gone is 50 I think. I don't think I'd bother going higher.

I am interested though on if taking T3 prior to 5 guys or any cheat meal once a week is beneficial or if it is counter productive. I just don't know how long the thyroid would slow down from one dose or if it would at all.

How high have you gone up to?

Five guys probably requires a decent T3 dose. :)

150mcg as a very short termed experiment but 125mcg for a few weeks is the highest I've done for any decent time frame. When you do a 5Guys triple or two 5Guys doubles then you have yourself an amazing pre workout meal lol

Rebound effect: The production of increased negative symptoms when the effect of a drug has passed or the patient no longer responds to the drug. If a drug produces a rebound effect, the condition it was used to treat may come back even stronger when the drug is discontinued or loses effectiveness.

It's pointless to use it for one day a week when you do a cheat meal and then it kind of defeats the purpose of the cheat meal. I don't like the term cheat meal. I prefer refeed.

Lol... I had a feeling you worked up to a decent amount.

So you never tapered up to that? Just went right to 125-150?

I've only gone up to 50 I think but I have always tapered.. not really sure why, I just felt weird about taking it all at once the first day.

Going to run some more here soon... Probably stick with a moderate dose still though.

Tapering up for most is a good idea so that the user gets acclimated to any type of sides IMO.

When I did 125-150mcg it wasn't my first time using T3. The first time using it I went up to 50 or 75mcg right from day one. I think it was my second time using T3 that I went straight to 125mcg, bumped it up to 150mcg for a couple days, then went back down to 125mcg.

At that dose though, accompanied with the cycle I was running, my hunger was insatiable. I could almost never feel full. We're talking about things like eating a full dinner after the gym then going to bed maybe 2hours later only to wake up at 2am to eat a few PBnJ sandwiches, a couple bowls of cereal, entire pint of ice cream, and whatever else I could shovel in my mouth before falling back asleep. I've always been a big eater but I've never felt that kind of hunger before in my life.

I get a ton of amusement out of that hunger you were getting from that dose. Haha what kind of results for you see from that?

Even with a big cycle I was stagnating/losig strength, lots of sweating, felt flat and like I was losing muscle but without a doubt got leaner in the process as well. You don't need that high a dose though to get leaner.

Take it from someone who has used t3/t4 non-stop for 8 years ... when you get high up in dose you essentially shrink in size but keep a similar body fat ... higher doses of t3 is pure garbage for bodybuilding purposes. There is a reason almost all the top guys I know use smaller doses of t3/t4 and rely on diet and other fat loss agents to shed the fat. I look my best on lower t3/t4, low dose DNP, tren, GH, slin, and a keto/low carb diet. THAT combo makes me look like a fucking 3D shrink wrapped freak. Problem is I can only maintain the diet for so long until I crack and come off it for a bit.
