Blood Pressure

Get this.

I have been roughly 145/75 for days now. That includes today.

So I had two glasses of red wine. I am sitting around and thought, "Hey, I'll check my blood pressure." :D

And the result was:

Well they do say a glass of wine every day is good for you ;)5032331009198.jpg

So I have been doing fasted cardio in the a.m. this week. Not everyday, but most days.

I found today I had a hard time this morning getting my heart rate up on the stepmill, which is usually not a problem. I use an "interval" workout, and my heart rate kept dropping below 120 every time the peak of the interval eased off.

Blood pressure today is only 129/61, and I did not just down two glasses of red wine.

;)

It's just one reading, which does not a trend make, but I found the combination of the lower heart rate while doing cardio and the surprisingly low blood pressure on the same day hard to ignore and worth commenting upon.

Drop down to 220lbs and you'll most likely feel better and live longer :)

I think that's a big part of why mine has been better lately. I've made sure to get 30 mins elliptical daily and increased my water intake. I try to do fasted cardio in the morning, but it only happens once or twice a week, on a good week. I haven't taken telmisartan in weeks and went from daily cialis to 10mg a couple times a week.

how's your water intake?

Donated blood today, was feeling better on the ride home lol.

120/69, 73bpm this evening after nap.

120/74, 63 bpm

I dropped the aromasin again and sure enough a few days later my HR drops and heart skips less beats. I'm really starting to think my asin has clen in it or something so I'm ordering HG asin and see if i get the same reaction.

horrible BP genes in my family. My old man was diagnosed with HTN at 21 and I at 22.
On telmisartan 120mg
Amlodipine 5mg
HCTZ 25mg
Cialis 5mg
Hawthorne Berries 1g
4-6 cloves of garlic
LISS x5/week (religiously) for 25-40min/sessions

HR is high 40’s when sleeping, mid 50’s during the day.

I check bp only when I’m laying in bed at the end of the day. If I check during the hectic days I have- when running around for hours on end, I average 140/60. At night I’m around 126-130/60.

also it definitely takes a few bp measurements consecutively to get down there. Must have some white coat syndrome/anxiety when I even check it myself.
