Blood Pressure

@malfeasance a couple studies in which you may have some interest. Came across them looking at propranolol for tachycardia I’ve had for a couple days.

Apparently, this combo is good for the liver?

What about another cardiologist?
I m on Coversyl (Perindopril 10mg / Amlodipine 5mg , if I m not wrong) ... reduced Aas, donated blood, some supplements, now I m fine

I have to either find something that works or give up bodybuilding. 143/91 is bad for the body, bad for the kidneys, bad for the heart
I usually don't have a problem staying 130's/80, but today, all day I've been at 143/80-145/80.
My estro was crashed so my doc pulled my of AI's. It's been a few weeks and I feel oily, so I know my E is high, which causes me to retain water and increases my BP.

I'm going back on the AI, getting bloodwork done thursday to see where I'm at, and today I took an extra cialis and a couple aspirin.
If I can't get this under control in a couple days, how long is too long at ~143 before I go to doc?

before you could damage your kidneys with higher pressure I think... don’t be a cheap fuck man.. good luck finding the right doctor too... I think that in the future if some doc will ask me “are you on androgen steroids?” My answer would be “I didn’t even see an asteroid, so don’t know what you’re talking about” “ I m speaking about Anabolic steroids... do you use some testosterone and or derivatives?” “Man, legit, i don’t understand.. I don’t know about asteroids.. I took an aspirin last year”

Thinking about trying this minus the HCTZ (can't tolerate even low doses of diuretics for some reason).

80 mg of telmisartan is not keeping my BP down as cycle continues. 143/91, way too high
I did some reading after posting and learned that there’s actually a drug that already has the valsartan combined with the amlodipine (minus the hctz). The combo I’m on has me at 115/78 as of today which is a major improvement over where I was. Good luck and let us know

fo sho, not trying to cheap out on heart stuff. I don't even have a PCP yet, meeting with them next week to establish relationship and see if they'll work for me. If not, I'll find a new one. But I don't want to walk around with high BP while I wait for doc. I'll go to ER if I need.

what are you on currently?

125mg test c, once a week
200mg npp, .7 mwf
Just took 12.5mg aromasin right now.

Diet is clean. I did have more than I should have drank this weekend due to Valentine's and being snowed in.
Pretty much exactly what I’m taking, except prop. I was running high for a few weeks. Did a blood dump Friday, been fine since, a little low, honestly. Do you know your HCT number? When’s the last time you dumped a pint?

I dump regularly and get bloods often. I have an appt to dump on Wednesday but they won't take me if my bp is too high. Last dump was right around Xmas. Give or take a couple days.

Skip a shot, see if you can get it in range enough to dump. I take it you don’t have any telmisartan hanging around.

No sir, but I'll be grabbing something. I'll do some research on that and keep an eye on it. I have some dandelion root on the way too to help me shed some water. Eating bananas in the meantime.

Telmisartan I saw that is almost a side effect free med for the most of people.
Yes, and a myriad of off label benefits as well. Renal protection, PPAR agonist, glucose control, and if you read that study I posted earlier, with propranolol, liver protection as well. Also, it’s supposed to mitigate cardio toxic effects of nandrolone. So, I take 40mg/day just for that purpose alone on 200mg/week NPP.

Yup and theoretically also helps with hct, I'm running it at full dose and need to test for hct.
