Blood Pressure

Does anyone get varying differences between arms? I'm not sure if it is a physiological factor causing it or something to look into. My left is always higher than right.

Isn't ideal diastolic around 80?

Between 110/60 to 120/70 is athlete level blood pressure and for steroid users it's fantastic lol.

And I get different readings from one arm to the other and sometimes I need to run my bp cuff a second time to get a more accurate reading.

121/71 60bpm this morning.

Going to see my family doc tomorrow and I'm going to bring my bp machine with me to see how accurate it is compared to his professional reading. Will be interesting.

I stopped taking it a couple weeks back. #1 I no longer have a cuff and #2, I’ve been having bouts of orthostatic hypotension almost every time I get up. I’ve had it taken several times in the interim by a health care professional, has come back 109/70 and 100/65. No idea why it was running high and is now low. Stopped telmisartan as well. Only difference is the loss of some weight, only about 10lbs.

Why do you find the loss of weight insignificant as it relates to your blood pressure? This is the number one thing a doctor will tell you to do to lower blood pressure.

I’ll try to TLDR this answer. I was cutting prior to exploding my shoulder. Continued cutting and training with destroyed shoulder as I awaited surgery. Got down to 221 at about 11-12%. Had no signs of the low blood pressure at that weight, which is always the result for me when either I’m too lean or too light(genetic). In fact, I’d been battling on the high end from HCT. Post op, went to maintenance diet break for a month, wound up about 10lbs heavier(water), the whole time reading the high end of normal. 135/80, 140/75, etc. Started training(one arm) with more intensity, went back to cutting, cardio and weights both 6x/week. Now down to 220 at about 10% and getting GM he orthoststic hypotension symptoms every time I get up. So, yeah, that’s the TLDR version.....sorry for that.
