Brewly - Worldwide Marketplace

I’m thinking me and @shackleford would do a better job of starting a marketplace.

Does anyone have a smart Asian teenager we could hire to code our site for us? I’m thinking he needs to be a larper too.

How did you get that from what I just said? smh

monkey tribe ask monkey farmer to number batch banana
monkey farmer fake batch number on banana
how monkey tribe verify, batch number on banana real, when all banana same if banana?
Ok, we could debate this all day long, we obviously have different opinions on batch numbers.

Lets put the batch numbers aside for a minute. I'm still waiting for you to address my vetting concern. We dont want that to get burried in the banter.

..Since when..did this become a debate of any sort, or opinion? You asked me why I don't ask for batch numbers, I replied with how easily faked they are.

Whats your vetting concern again? I can show you our vetting process again and requirements if thats what you like. Just let me find it and copy and paste it for you yet again.

Your concern about a lab, Apexa? I have not heard seen Apexa do anything bad like this. As you may of missed, it was stated earlier that'd we be looking into the claims and verifying.

Well i guess thats the answer we were looking for. You really dont care what your customers want. Should I stop wasting my time then?

We’re the Chief Creative Officers but apparently that’s an unpaid internship position.

We can always lay-off of the “constructive” dialogue and regress to flinging shit around the monkey cage.

That’s always a good look for a source (or marketplace) when the hundreds of readers/lurkers just see a bunch of arguing.

Good sources generally have good happy banner (positive reviews or not) bad sources have a bunch of shit shitting on the shitty source every time the source bumps their own thread. (Again, check out the bestgear thread as an example).

What is my vetting concern? I spelled it out pretty clearly in a previous post, and I'm not the only one. I'm not repeating myself again. You're a big boy, go back and reread it and come back with an adequate answer.

Did you read my response to your “how easily batch numbers can be faked”?? We’ve covered that with other sources here before.

Again, Brewly refers to the site as a better way to purchase AAS and forums are “outdated” but while you guys see problems and difficulties, MESO has ALREADY figured that out. Seems like Brewly still can’t get over the learning-curve to move forward and beyond what we ALREADY HAVE HERE.

@BigBaldBeardGuy @shackleford @Grab Bag (actually this guy has no agenda)

Brewly Busters, let me take a crack at the questions.

Vetting
Pictures of the applications and breakdowns by DO and I have been posted to the point where it's probably considered spam.

Batch numbers
Great idea, imo, we'll push for it when we can. Why not now? Because it would wipe out all our vendors. Juice isn't worth the squeeze. How can you accelerate that process? Join the Brewly cause and help us push AAS online to a direction of convenience, vendor accountabilities, and more. Every smear post pushes us further from the goal of vendor accountability

Order dispute/Buyer protection
This one is for BBBG. The system I described would allow you to be reimbursed no matter how old your order is. Though we'd probably institute some type of limit. I think Paypal's is 90 days.

Putting in the effort
We are putting in the effort. The site is nearly feature-complete. It takes time for people to come on board and actually use it though. Imagine Meso without its members. What would you have? Similar situation on Brewly.

This site was remarkably expensive to develop both financially and time wise. We are putting in the effort.

Final remark
Let's not pretend that Meso requires testing, batch numbers, stock pics, etc. Meso is a free-for-all. It's unmoderated. It requires nothing. Anyone can post and say "Hey order from this email/website!". Obviously, people usually tend not to. It's a similar situation on Brewly except we actually have a minimum barrier to entry.

Honestly, I thought this is what you guys wanted. A system where it's the community who vets and calls the shots, but we were wrong. So we're making efforts to call the shots and set our own higher standard.

It takes time. Want to accelerate it? Support the cause. If not, perfectly understandable. Thank you for your questions.

Fuck. You’re making him work now???

It was supposed to be as easy as posting an intro and web address and the bitcoins would just flow in.

That’s what every new source here expects. Reality is slightly different.

I’d love for @mugzy to confirm what he’s been hinting at and what we all suspect. The daily individual web hits are pretty low right now aren’t they?

Its impossible to verify that batch numbers are real.

I'm attempting to show that batch numbers don't really make a difference. I have seen time and time again batch numbers being faked simply for label processing.

We've all seen labs who also add for some reason warning labels on their labels like if its some regulated item.

Samples..of every batch..are going to be damn near identical, if the source is indeed a reputable source. You wouldn't be able to tell me the difference between batch #1 and #2 if I made them correctly.

The only reason batch numbers work in the real world is because there are grave repercussions, like my raw factory for example giving me a faked batch number can lead to a slew of legal issues. This is why we mark batches, to see where in the line they came from and month.

But a source, with their batch numbers? I HOPE, every source is using honestly in their batch numbering, but its just damn near impossible to know.

Even though you’re not explicitly saying it, your post made me realize a source could fake batch #’s to avoid mass refunds in case of contamination or under dosing (“batch 2 may be underdosed, but you got batch 3 bro! It’s fire!” When in fact it could all be same batch.) Point taken.

I personally hadn’t considered it from that perspective.

I am not a “brewly buster” nor am I on anyone’s team here. I think I have posted twice in this thread, and it was constructive and polite.

I am a member voicing concerns with your aspects of your venture (which you have asked for member feedback on), and I do not appreciate being painted as someone w an agenda.

Apologize.

I would love for you to have first hand experience at how hard it actually is to do this.

@Brewly @DragonOrdnance
very mature. Your actions speak for themselves. i'll be doing business elsewhere.

I do not speak for DO, but I believe I've been extremely cordial and thorough with my replies. I reckon I probably take the award on Meso for: most replies, most detailed replies, most replies in non-broken english, most words written, etc

I am doing my best. Let's be honest though, it's never been your intention to do business with us. You and BBBG have been on this thread like hawks finding any and every opportunity to twist words and start chaos. It comes off very clearly to everyone reading.

We take your suggestions, implement them, and it's never enough. We're a joke.

Give us time, we'll KEEP implementing your suggestions. It takes times.

My mistake fam. It was all in jest. I read your reply about batch numbers to DO and you were extremely level-headed and unbiased.

You have my apologies.

Fuckin right we are watching you like hawks. And every suggestion has been for your benefit as well as the members here. Having your faults pointed out isnt easy, but like i said before, swallow your pride.

I don’t think your entitled to say how our words are read by other members here.

This is ALL stuff that every source has to go thru. You’re not special but you think you are. You’ve been here for one month and you have a giant opinion of yourself. Look at Stanford’s thread. He’s answered WAY WAY WAY more than you. Look at TGI’s thread, way more respectful and provided the correct answers.

The stuff we point out is the stuff you need if you hope to get any traffic from MESO. I’m done pointing it out in a constructive way. That doesn’t mean I’m leaving your thread though.

You can go fuck yourself.

MESO has ALREADY figured that out. Seems like Brewly still can’t get over the learning-curve to move forward and beyond what we ALREADY HAVE HERE.

"Black market prices. Underground labs. Scammers. Uncensored."

What if we could actually ban people, recover funds, ensure a minimum level of safety?

Fuckin right we are watching you like hawks. And every suggestion has been for your benefit as well as the members here. Having your faults pointed out isnt easy, but like i said before, swallow your pride.

I don't know what to tell you. We've implemented just about every suggestion so far, and we're still doing it. Which part of this comes off as prideful?

DO was simply raising the point that batch numbers don't mean anything.

You don't find it odd that it's just you and shackleford posting with such fervor? I don't understand what compels you to push this agenda with every fiber of your being.

We're literally trying to create a platform that holds vendors accountable and is convenient as hell for buyers. Why does this inspire such hatred in your heart?

And anyone reading this thinking: "That's BS! you just want money! you're greedy!".

A happy customer is a RETURNING customer.

ALL successful marketplaces are CUSTOMER-FIRST.

It's very much in our financial interest to keep customers safe, happy, and returning. It has nothing to do with morality or feel good BS.

DO was simply raising the point that batch numbers don't mean anything.

*takes back of your head and slams your face into post 1075*

Read dummy:

I said it and you missed it. Batch numbers help the vendor too. Say I submit a sample from “Batch 5” and it comes back 40% underdosed. The vendor only has to refund for batch 5. If the vendor printed up 2,000 fake labels with batch 5 then they’re refunding all 2,000.

And to keep them from printing up batch numbers in 10 label increments even though it’s all from the same batch, you require them to list Product and batch number in their order list on your site.

Edit: and like @shackleford pointed out, samples of the same batch should be very very similar in concentration.

Batch numbers are meaningful. You just know your vendors will LEAVE if you up your requirements anymore.
