Im talking about celsius, in fahrenheits its around 430.Is 230* the top end for heat output? Seems lacking to me. I usually go 500* for quite some time.
According to wiki on dry heat sterilizing it should be more then enough.
The proper time and temperature for dry heat sterilization is 160 °C (320 °F) for 2 hours or 170 °C (340 °F) for 1 hour or in the case of High Velocity Hot Air sterilisers 190°C (375°F) for 6 to 12 minutes.[3] Instruments should be dry before sterilization since water will interfere with the process. Dry heat destroys microorganisms by causing denaturation of proteins.
Of course those temps are for dry heat sterilizers, not for oven.
But such a mini oven is Around 100$ and cheapest 20 l capacity dry heat sterilizator i could find costs around 800$
Plus u can sanitize interior easily, and it will be used solely for this purpose.
Sounds good no?
