Well I finished block 29. I will be doing the whole thing barring injury- I did it (something close to it- a different sheiko spreadsheet) for two weeks and restarted with 29 from docd... also took a week off, so this took almost 8 weeks to do a 4 week program. I urge anyone curious to give this a try. I thought I had phenomenal conditioning... this shit is brutal beyond words. Jb is getting into it- it's so challenging, and challenging in such a different way. Feels good to be done with 29. Here I come 30!

Edit- if any of you do try this ALL BENCHES ARE PAUSED ON CHEST FOR A ONE COUNT. MAKES A BIG MOTHERFUCKING DIFFERENCE.

Lol I bet bro. I tried that paused bench today an its a totally diff ball game when done that way. I never realized how much more difficult it was till I tried it out for myself!!! My hats off to you brut;)
 
Nice work getting through 29 brother. All of the volume you and JB did prior build a solid base for you to work from. Those templates look absolutely brutal to me.

I pulled my trap deadlifting Thursday. I didn't pull the slack out of my body on one of the reps in the heavy triples and it yanked it- real tight, real bad pain for a minute that subsided. I finished the session with minimal discomfort. Saturday I did the double squats and I think the weight on my trap fucked me up bad. Pain and stiffness sunday and I woke up at 3 am with vicious spasms in my neck. I now cannot pick my head up off a pillow without using my hands to lift it. Chiropractor at 830 am. Fun is.

Damn that sucks...hope you didn't tear it. Get it iced down and then some heat.

There are a lot of things that give me pause about those templates and that is one of them. With all of the sets and fatigue setting in keeping form on point is far from easy and while the loads being used aren't maxes they are plenty heavy enough to fuck you up if your form breaks down too badly.

I've been limping around all day after leg curling myself to death on sunday. Not on your level but fuck it sucks!
I took a week off training last week and did nothing but stretching and cardio. As an old shoulder injury came home to haunt me that's when I decided it's time for a break. Today I got back at it and shoulder felt better and 225 went up fine, then 275 it broke down again...got some pain but no injury.
 
@brutus79, I understand you using your hands to help lift your head is not an exaggeration. Bad, almost migraine headaches right? I had a similar injury about a year ago.
Chiropractor helped me tremendously on my first visit, which is the good news. The bad news was a 3-4 week healing time. There is no "pushing through it", only prolongs the healing process - at least for me that was the case. Good luck healing up!

Damn brut, im sorry to hear about that bro. Hopefully youll have a quick recovery. I hate being down an out like that. I cant wait to go an see a chiro myself. Inbetween working at a sawmill an running myself over with my own truck lmfao while smdh, my back is deff in need of some attention. Oh an ya did I mention I ran myself over with my own truck:rolleyes::D..... long story short, never try popstarting your truck after chasing Xanax with whiskey an whiskey with beer. The first time I went to take a shit after that happened, I swear to god I thought I was going to shit out my intestines:eek: I figured it fucked me up pretty bad since I was shitting blood but the body is an amazing thing;) I could actually feel the back tire graze my ear. If it would have been a few inches over the other way, well Skull wouldn't be hear telling yet another long ass drawn out story that was supposed to be a....Long story short:rolleyes:...Well so much for that:D:p
