My question for the guys that are in the gym at least 90min @brutus79 @ROB581211 @Docd187123 @insertnamehere @Masters Power
What do you drink/eat during? I saw Brutus had a couple Twinkies. I drank a bottle of kefir during my workout the other day and it was great besides giving me horrific gas.

Poptarts, brownies, water, Gatorade, pedialyte, a shake I'll make at home. Basically anything that won't cause you discomfort when lifting.

I usually have a banana or two and a 32oz gatorade. I eat the bananas in between squats/deads and bench.
 
Just to let my meso brothers know- I am taking a week off. I conversed with doc and I will pick right up in the last session of the 29 block of sheiko. I am going to start using the oly bar as well- thumbs over the top of the bar in hopes my elbow fares better. Why? The Ssb is putting too much stress on my ab/groin area and I fear I am developing a hernia- I know switching bars will solve the problem.
I am hitting boston with the girlfriend for a week, and my body will rest save for the hotel bed cardio several times a day. She has never been, I prefer it to nyc and have been a thousand times. My bday present to her... tickets, baller hotel, baller dinners and some clothes and whatever the fuck she wants. Should be fun. Will be fun. Don't miss me too much my friends.

I did carbogoline for a while and it was ok but tastes horrible. Bananas are ok but give me heartburn. Doc says pop tarts but I need too much liquid to get em down... I do a pack of twinkies after sets of compound exercises and works great. I also eat HUGE an hour before- 50 grams of protein and a big sweet potato or something AND A shake. I went through countless jugs of preworkout through the last couple years AND NOTHING BEATS PRE WORKOUT MEALS. nothing. Some coffee, twinkies, pr time!

I admire you are doing good brother..dont stop.Me myself i need to get back to the meetings...you know what i mean.keep shit up..your previous pics you have changed..looking more lean and dense,ha..thats a good thing now days.Keep..keeping it real.

BTW does your body feel rested and ready after the time off, I've always dreaded taking time off , but always been pleasantly surprised how refreshed i feel when i get back to it.

Thanks guys. The time off was hard on me mentally. Ending on a day I couldn't finish the program because of back pumps and then being tired from the trip... ate away at my mind. I could have gone to the gym wednesday and I just went home and slept- I was dreading going 8n and not being able to finish it. I felt fat, lazy and weak the whole time. I feel so much better now words can not describe. Iron heals all.

Today was rough. Tried to talk myself out of the front squats the entire time. Finished it with the help of half a dozen oatmeal cream pies. Yeeeeeaaaaaa boy

Nice and cheap simple carbs. I literally can't get through these sessions without peri workout carbs. 2 hours 40 min for this. The worst part other than front squats were those db flys... my arms were shot from the last two days benching.
