Bulking up blast

Why is sleep so important for recovery anyway?

From what I'm reading it's important for growth hormone secretion and protein synthesis.

Since our protein synthesis is permanently elevated on steroids then perhaps taking a GH secretagogue like MK677 could help to eliminate some of the side effects of chronically poor sleep in terms of lack of hypertrophy?

I know anecdotally tren increases IGF-1 and I had better muscle gains during a cut on tren than I'm having on this bulk.

I've had similar experiences as OP. I think the issue is your shitty sleep is affecting your recovery. I am pretty sure I have sleep apnea, and always wake up throughout the night. I decided to take 3 days off instead of the usual two. Came back stronger on my most lagging muscle group.
If you're pretty sure you have sleep apnea, then you really should get a sleep study done. It is nothing to mess with, as it will wreak havoc on your heart eventually. It's one of the leading causes of A-fib.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into it.

The DBol is about 3 years old, I got it for my first cycle and only used a few of them at the time but I KNOW it was good back then from feels, and it's still within its expiry date.

The 250mg Test U is probably underdosed but it gives me 730ng/dl testosterone on its own once a week, confirmed by blood results.

The 400mg Deca / 600mg Test E in a blend I don't know, it's thick as syrup and it's pretty PIPpy. It's from a different UGL from the Test U and I've used them for a while with acceptable results.

Am very confused.
Maybe there's something in my blood work messing me up? High cortisol? Low iron?
Sounds a bit underdosed. 200 a week test puts me in the 1300 range
