Most asked question of all time although I’ve never seen a poll done on it so I figured why not. Currently on 125mg per week of test cyp (once weekly) and wondering if it’s worth increasing to 150mg or if I’m just majoring in the minors.

I’m prescribed 200mg and come down to 210mg which is 60mg EOD for me. Otherwise, I only go to about 300-350mg. Tried 525mg for 8 weeks once and felt like it was way too much and backed off. I wasn’t comfortable with the rapid weight gain. Made me feel super unathletic

I cruise on 200mg usually, which keeps me at around 900-1100 at the trough.
I could make do with much less for a true trt
We ain’t all as big as you Big Tom. I say I can get away with 125-150mg and I’m less than half the size you are.

that’s a cycle for me

My prescription dose is admittedly cycle territory for me as well. 200mg puts me over the 1500ng/dL cap. 300-350mg put me at 2100. (I say 300-350mg because I was on 350mg for approx two weeks from 300mg when I had the bloodwork done

I think size has less to do with healthy trt dose than we think.
Genetic response plays a much bigger role in my experience.

I have a client who's nearly my size who only needs 110mg a week to stay in the 700+ range and I have a friend who works with the same coach I do that is about 185lbs 5'6 that needs 200mg to stay at 700+

When we are talking about real trt, rather than cruises, I think it's super individual

Unfortunately in Ireland where I live blood testing can be both quite expensive and a hassle to obtain. It has to be shipped to the UK and twice my samples heamatolyzed (botched the name) so it couldn’t be tested. Cost me €300 in total and did not receive a refund. So if I can I try and go by feels even though it’s obviously a horrible way of measuring your levels. Ireland is very conservative when it comes to health, you do what the doctor says, no ifs or buts.

Yeah that's a hassle.

For clarity, my trt dose is self prescribed.

While my pre-steroid levels were in the low 300s at 28 years old, I never persued a legitimate script.

It sucks man. There’s a few tells on guessing your levels such as water retention, blood pressure and sleep quality that give you some insight on where your levels are at. Unfortunately it’s the only way. The doctor will not test your hormones here unless you have a valid reason. They won’t even test your cholesterol unless you’re over the age of 40. He mentioned my RBC was high last blood test and accused me of roids, all he did was state that I shouldn’t be using them.

Serum FT levels (and serum TT via SHBG) are related to dose via the hepatic clearance of free testosterone.

This is only modestly correlated to body mass.

Thank you for differentiating TRT vs cruise which are completely different animals. The former is arguably medically justifiable T use while the later is abuse as part of a getbig (and die tryin) strategy (or maybe not). As long as you understand this then have fun and cruise/blast away.

I think you and @BigTomJ are right about body mass having nothing to do with it. Just done some more research. Only way is a legitimate blood test. I will eventually get around to it.

Also depends on injection frequency and when bloods pulled.

Imho an ideal cruise dose should be the one which will allow you to recover your blood markers and give your body a rest from the blast phase while at the same time allowing you to keep as most muscle as possible.

Very wide range on dose response...

And this is all just reasonable sized people forming the field lines.
