Crystal's Primo Log

I used to think crossfit was gay. Till i met this dude in my gym. Since he front squats 405, deadlifts 505 for reps pyramiding up and that is his lightest set and most likely a warm up, has all the lines and muscle bellies of a bodybuilder i cant hate him for it. He weighs 200 freakin pounds.
Respect

Funny you should say that. This guy from Sweden came in my gym and he was fricken jacked and strong as an ox. I asked him if he was a PL or bodybuilder because he literally coulda been both. He said neither, he was a crossfit competitor. Mind blown [emoji15] deff have a newfound respect for crossfit.

Haha, you wouldn't be so nauseated if you knew how intense crossfit actually is. That shit is hard! Yeah, I know it gets a bad reputation but the crossfit box I used to go to was very good at pushing you, but not too far. The WOD's (workout of the day) were designed to mix a steady progression of progressively heavier lifting with intense cardio bursts.

I can't even begin to describe the amazing feeling of accomplishment after finishing a WOD and realizing that you're still alive, even though you felt like you were going to die just a couple minutes before, lol.

I still prefer my bodybuilding workouts over crossfit but do like to switch it up every once in a while...because it's fun![emoji6]

I literally couldn't do crossfit as I'm not fit enough. My tongue would be hanging out. So that post was largely in jest.

My only real objection to crossfit is it promotes terrible form and leads to injuries amongst a lot of newer lifters.

As far as the "jacked" guys competing I can promise you they got jacked doing either bb or pl programming and then switched. I checked out a lot of crossfit routines many years ago and there is very little reasoning behind them in terms of building muscle or power. Maybe they have gotten significantly better as what Crystal mentions above seems to be a lot more like pl training (mixed with cardio) than what I had seen previously.

Whatever your doing is working. Carry on. I was just messing around. Most of the crossfitters believe powerlifters are nuts and in a lot of cases they are correct!

Really?? Oh, I hope it's true and I'm in the clear! Every time I'm done shampooing and conditioning my hair, I always try to collect each individual strand that's loose, just so I can kind of count and get an idea of how much hair has fallen out. LOL
The first time I tried tren I bought Nizoral as a precaution. I didn't lose any hair but I used it every other day anyway. The Nizoral dried my hair out big time. I think you're only supposed to use it twice a week.

I thought that this was true only for the "elite" type because I know they focus a lot on Olympic lifts. But I don't do crosdfit so I wouldn't know
