I've never had a problem with Deca or NPP, but I run bitch dosages, 150 / week for NPP, 200 / week for deca. I have used them both in bulking and cutting. At the low dosages I did not see any crazy water retention, just lots of fullness and strength. It might be good to have quality DHEA (50 - 100 mg) or DBol (5 mg) on hand in case you get some of the sexual side effects. To echo what others have said, i'd highly recommend going with NPP in case you need to bail. I think most would say to just use NPP but I much prefer the slowness of deca myself. NPP would set my nipples on fire the next day if my e2 wasn't right. With deca the slow rise gives my body time to adjust. I never have issues gyno issues on deca. Never experienced deca dick with high or low doses or with or without testosterone. I'll dose deca once a week and NPP MWF.I'd say if you want it purely for the anabolism go with NPP (if you're okay with pinning frequency) but if you have joint/tendon issues I'd suggest to gamble it and go with deca.
NPP at 175 didn't do anything regarding joint relief and I've heard from others that specific effect is more prominent with deca.
I have a couple vials of both NPP and deca and still wondering what to use. I'm all long esters from now on and the idea of daily or eod pinning due to NPP is not appealing at all. Maybe I'll start with 200-250 deca and later on if i want more then add some NPP on top of that.
I think if you have your e2 and prolactin in check you'll be fine. If anything goes wrong just accept it will suck for a while and move on. Most of the guys having issues with this or that i believe they have a not so good response with most (if not all) peds.

Genuinely curious…are you using both just to exhaust an existing supply? I know some utilize both in the beginning of a cycle until the deca has enough time to “kick in”.I use them both at the same time now until I run out of npp.
Just to use up my NPP and not feel like I need to inject every day even though I think npp MWF is frequent enough my syringes are only 1cc so if I wanted to run 600mg I can do two less pins this way. My Deca is 300mg/ml and my NPP is only 100mg/ml. Deca seems to give more joint supportWhat's the advantage of that protocol?

Thanks for the reply, brother. I’ve already got Deca sitting on the shelf, but I’m tempted to grab some NPP too - gotta try the whole menu while the kitchen’s still open. Like you said, NPP sounds better purely for anabolism, but if Deca really has that edge for joints, maybe it’s worth the gamble. I’ll be the first to admit this is way above my pay grade, but that’s the puzzling part. I have not used nandrolone yet but picked up deca solely for the anecdotal joint relief comparison. At my age, and struggling with joint issues, I’m not looking to pile on a ton of additional body mass. But the potential for adding more synovial fluid to the joints with a low dose sounds to good to not give it a run.because chemically, once cleaved, nandrolone ought to be nandrolone, right?
100mg per week seems to do it. My only issue with deca for joint support is the LVH issue. Is it safe to run year round for life at 100mg/week on top of trt+? I don't know so I still take breaks
npp you will be peaking for 4 good hours out of the day.I keep hearing that as well. Presumably it has something to do with the pharmacokinetics of the ester prodrug, because chemically, once cleaved, nandrolone ought to be nandrolone, right?

There's something like 2000+ human studies on Deca and I believe precisely zero of them show Deca causes LVH any more than other steroids do.My only issue with deca for joint support is the LVH issue.
