The FDA also banned ephedrine and claims marijuana has no medical benefits whatsoever even though the US Federal government owns a patent on marijuana treating hupercholesteremia.....


Are we drawing equivalents between MJ, eph, and DNP? That is a giant stretch no matter how you feel about the FDA.

I'm not saying they are the equivalents. What I am saying is the FDA has made mistakes and been contradictory before.

No disagreement there. I don't think you can find many organizations that have existed for longer than a decade where that isn't true. Even fewer if you confine yourself to orgs established by a government.

Don't think the DNP ban was one of them (mistakes) though.

From 1918 until 2011 there were 62 reported deaths due to dnp with most of them due to occupational/chronic exposure and intentional overdosing. These 62 deaths came from possibly several hundreds of thousands of users and people exposed to it through work. To say it's not fit for human use based on these statistics is outright wrong since many other legal/fit for human use things have caused much more fatalities.

Furthermore, a pharmacokinetically altered version of dnp, CRMP, is being studied by Yale University as a method to treat type II diabetes and NAFLD. The difference between DNP and CRMP? One takes a longer time to be absorbed than the other. Again, to say it's not fit for human use is wrong.

Interestingly in that death data is that we have gotten back to the level of reported/published deaths experienced during the pre-ban 20's and 30's only again in the 2010's and beyond. So.. progress... yay!

I also found it interesting that the lowest reported/published lethal dose was something close to 4.83mg/kg body weight. Came out to around 390mg for a 200 pound human. I have to wonder for that one what environmental complications entered into the picture though.

It was 4.3mg/kg but you're close enough.

I wonder about the lady who took 2.4g of the stuff with no complications and survived
 
I'm feeling normal, still. Carbed up and I don't feel that heat. Just got home from skateboarding the San Francisco hills with my kids, and my house is warm according to everyone in here right now. But still, no sweating.
 
Day 6: Took another 250mg a moment ago. I will follow it up with another 250mg later in the day. Once again, I didn't feel hot last night, nor did I sweat. I did gain back those 2lbs back, so I'm back to my original weight of 200lb. It probably was those carbs I ate that never triggered a reaction. Or water retention. But on a positive note, body fluids are yellow, including jizz.

You have an odd definition of "positive" :) Seems strange that you have no effects (side or main) from what is very authentic looking DNP anyway.

the lack of weight loss is puzzling though. The keto diet alone and food journaling to control caloric consumption should be showing some effect already even if the DNP was literally nothing but funny looking yellow Styrofoam.

Dnp water retention can mask weight loss.

I too didn't suffer from the typical sides of dnp and I used stupid high doses

The day I started Dnp I started using my fitness pal app to accurately account for my calories, fat, and protein. Im finishing my days with a 500-800 calorie deficit on ketosis, and on a killer fat burning substance, goddammit
 
How much did you lose? How long did you run it. I was planning on 2 weeks, but I'm probably going 3 weeks due to my slow start

I forget the exact numbers bc it's been a while. I ran it for over 8wks I believe and lost 15ish pounds. Don't quote me on the numbers bc they could be off. I had a log of my run here on the forum.

I'll look it up. I remember reading it. Wow, 8 weeks. I'm assuming low dose, of course
 
15 pounds 8 weeks? Must have been very low dose. In my last sprints, I lost 24 pounds over two 5-day sessions on 1300 calls per day deficit ... 500 mg per day ...
 
No it wasn't a low dose. I started at 250mg for 4 days then began bumping it up. I'm not going to get into specific dosages so as not to entice anyone to follow my route but I went stupid high on the dose. over 1g/day is all I'll say.

now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it was less than 8wks. I didn't lose as much fat as you'd expect with the dosages I was taking bc I was eating more than normal. I had just finished a powerlifting meet and wasn't watching my diet at all. Just ate anything I could get my hands on.
