I think I've heard of this before actually... Can't you get kicked out of the gym if you don't submit to a drug test? Maybe I'm thinking of a different country...
If I'm not mistaken, there are gyms that are popping up refusing to post the stickers on there premises that denote a drug free environment and then paying the penalty.
Hopefully your area will become more enlightened as time goes on, I was sad to read about this when I first learned of it.
This would make a good topic for a thread so that awareness is spread.
Yeah it was in that movie with Dave Crosland. Under ConstructionThey did, until the conservative party decided to ban it some years ago. But it's always been looked down upon. You think americans are ignorant? Where do you think the "dumb and blond" thing came from?
Thats actually right, when you sign up to a gym they make you sign a contract made by Antidoping Norway, and give you a t-shirt saying "Clean Athlete".
And if they want you to take a drug test and you refuse, they cancel your membership and report you to the cops. So it's kind of a big deal staying under the radar.
I admire this. And its the correct way to handle it.When a casual acquaintance or a friend of friend I've never met comes out of his mouth bewith something like that I have to assume their goal is to make me uncomfortable. I turn the tables on them by closing the distance between us in a hot second and make any personal space they may have been enjoying, mine.
With an intense stare I ask them if they are a cop.
I've asked people in the past why they were asking such an inflammatory question and demand the name of the person spreading rumors if they aren't solely responsible.
I 2nd this. I tell em I've been lifting 6 days a week an eating 6 full course meals a day for the last 10yrs straight, which is the truth but they don't need to know "all" of the supplements I take. I tell em the basic protein powder, creatine, bcaas, glutamine ECT.....An when they ask about juice I tell them, well hell fuck no......I heard those things make your dick little bahahahahI just tell them "lots of lifting and lots of protein" ,.
Thats my story and Im sticking to it.![]()
That's fucked up brother! I'm glad it has stopped before effecting your jobI work a government job. Dudes uses to always crack the "using roids" jokes until I was pulled into my supervisors office and asked directly. He told me it was cause there was a lot of talk around the workplace about me being thick and veiny. I laughed it off and told him "i wish I could, could you imagine how big I'd be if I did?" Then the next few guys attempting the jokes, I raised my voice with and told them the next person who spouts that garbage is getting a harassment complaint filed on them. Word traveled quick. I've been accused free for over a year now I'm the workplace.

Yup that would piss me off. I would have done the same thing.I work a government job. They should really be encouraging it in your environment(no brainer)I work a government job. That's commendable bro I've watched videos on YouTube of guys making money off "workout" videos where they walk thru the gym talking to everyone and do a few sets at a few machines and act like that little effort is how they got that size when they are actually juicing and giving people false hopeFunny thing is I never got accused in the Military because people falsely thought the drug tests detected AAS. After I got out I was asked and jokingly said yes.
My use does affect my media use though. I've had multiple people ask if I had an instagram, half for training, half for my humor...but I don't feel comfortable posting workouts when I'll have to lie and act like it's all natural.
I was accused before I even took them but now I get the same thing. "I'm concerned for your health." I can't stand that line. I wanna punch them in the fucking throat. Ignorance! And those same people I keep telling them I'm not.
I'm a bad liar as well so I have to make a joke. I say that I am and make this big dramatic lie about how much I'm taking and there like "Really?!" I laugh and say "No. Ha I get drug tested randomly." Which is all true...in a way.
You are 100% right my friend. They have nothing on me and I have everything on them. I don't drink, never smoked or done drugs and I diet and bring my meals with me places. Even if I go to the beach. The same people "worried about your health" are the same people eating fried foods and ice cream, smoking cigarettes and drinking booze. It cracks me up....
Yeah i do work my ass off an its a very physically demanding job. Where i work we saw mainly read an white oak logs. We saw em down into ties. Stacking railraod ties all day everyday. The big dogs such as 7×9's, 8×8's, 6×8's an 4×6's. We saw the sides off the cants first an make them into 1" boards until all the sides are sawed all the way dien to the big railroad ties. Its all fresh rough cut lumber which makes them that much heavier since all the moisture is still in the wood. Its more if a tie mill than anything else. You can easily put on mass lifting those heavy ass things all day if you eat a big diet, which i do lol. I hate it when guys think we jus got bigger by juicin smh. Ive worked my ass off for nearly a decade in order to build the best solid base i could before runnin any aas. The average joe has not the slightest fuckin clue how much effort an hard work we have thrown down over the years un order to create mass. Ive only been juicin for a few years so its not like its all jus gear.....Its hard work day in an day out along with a healthy huge diet...Jus wish they could understand that but no...."its cuz that guy must be on sumthin" smfdh give me a fuckin break people lol@Skull -- dont you work in a shake/shingle mill ? Most those guys are naturally buff from the hard work and lifting . Right ?
I worked in a brick/block plant and looked great naturally...

I mean...theres nothing superhero-ish about what u do anyway. PSHHHH
In Norway, snowboarding = God...aka Terje HaakonsenI kind of care, it can affect my job and my reputation. In Norway, steroids=the devil.
