Yes everything can go bad. But stored at room temperature or a little below is good. Should not be in direkt sunlight though.

i'm a bit curious actually howlong these things are useable
i stil got 2 half botles of orals stored in a safe spot in my basement the last 2years or so
and i placed em there well sealed right after i used em, now the date expired somewhere in 2015 but the temperature has been constantly low and dark

would it be safe to use ?

Sure.
You have to look at it like this. This is not food that goes bad and has bacteria and other stuff in them.
It's medicin.
After a while it eighter looses effectiveness or it stays the same. Depending on the compound. For example t3/t4 very unstable. Losses potency fast.
But you should be good. Give it a try.
