Dr Jims Hplc/ms Data

Ok the good and bad news.
Although I have MS on just about every submitted sample the reason the MS were conducted is problematic.

It seems someone at the lab ran the samples thru the column wo first performing the required sonication and ultrafiltration procedure.

Well that's just F ....ing great bc they clogged the damn column so bad it had to be returned to the manufacture to determine IF the junk contained therein can be fraged or otherwise chemically removed.

Thus the MS were performed as a temporizing measure to appease the consumer ME, since all those standards the took F...ing MONTHS to solubilize and calibrate are now sitting wo a column to run them through.

So what does all this really mean?
Neither qualitative or quantitative results are available bc the existing sample HPLC data can NOT be compared to known standards.

I'll be discussing the situation with the lab director again tomorrow, and even though I'm told there will be "no charge" for any of the lab work conducted to date, for some reason I don't consider that much of a consolidation prize !

Apologies
Jim

No, I won't post incomplete data and a MS alone does NOT provide CONFIRMATION on either a quantitative or qualitative basis.

I will wait until a legit HPLC can be conducted using the standards we worked so hard to develop.

When will that be, I really don't know.

Ok, I completely understand and will continue to wait patiently.
Sorry you are having so many difficulties getting this done properly. I know it has to be frustrating for you. Good luck my friend.

While I don't understand any of these testing procedures (electrical engineer :D)

I do appreciate your efforts!

F**K!
Oh well, chalk it up up to human error. We've waited this long, we can wait a while more. I'm all for waiting for the complete data set. Without that, we will be swimming in a shit-pool of controversy. Better to know for sure...

I'll be in holding pattern on this one. Really appreciate all you're doing here, @Dr JIM . It's gotta be 10x more frustrating for you.

Just spoke with the lab director today and whom forwarded lllCOLUMN to the manufacture

The MS are revealing enough BUT the HPLC (standard/sample) comparative data is mandatory to ensure a high level of credibility!

Oh yea it's very frustrating especially if you reviewed the MS
results.

Oh that's right I'm mistaken, one can post legit qualitative and quantitative sample data using a MS alone, NOT.

Damn it felt nice just to post something BUT I won't post BS and such restraint when mates understandably want results is indeed frustrating.

And I'm not knocking those fellas who like me want these results, but we gotta get it RIGHT guys.

Regs
Jim
