That’s the only way to really be sure of the purity of what you’re about to put in your body. You did pay for testing, good job buddy, then let the world know you spent money on testing so we should be very thankful. Did you thank your bestie spaceman for all the free testing he posts too? I mean you say you are not about the kudos so might as well be fair and everyone gets their due credit

All donations are a good thing but if Salvation Army Santa rings his bell and you donate great. If that Santa followed you around everywhere with his bell and would tell people how you won’t donate, is it the same, no. Donations all count but there’s good and bad ways about going about it I think is their point.

Ok since you want it to be an exact analogy. Santa is outside your work and follows you to your cube at work and says hey are you going to donate to save the children or not guy? Again this appears to be the straw that broke the camels back and the thread went well past just that.

As I said earlier, if you've ever owned a successful (legal) business or have large sway on money at one, that literally happens. I get pinged at my work email dang near daily (and repeatedly) or pulled into meetings asking for me to sponsor things/make corporate donations/etc.
Again, straw that broke the camel's back or not, you guys are treating sources with nicer kid gloves than any normal business gets. It's incredibly bizarre.

Who’s treating sources with kid gloves? You may want to read threads that are older than July before making comments like that that shows you have little to no history here. I don’t praise nor demonize sources. They are a utility that I use and I vote with my dollars and if I get good quality and someone asks me I’ll say I use a source and here is why and how I vetted them. Same if I got crap. It’s not like ghoul or others who are married to a source and they can do no wrong. Read is the lesser of that evil and he goes the other way and harasses them about everything and for it’s like yup point made so test their stuff and use them or don’t, it’s peoples choice to make. Don’t shop at the dollar store and look for high quality stuff.
It’s clear you must work in a small office, my company donated millions after a lot of research on causes and we will get reminders or details of new drives. If they’re annoying we move on and find another cause because we don’t have time for that. So the charities you work with must be newbies at their jobs or something.

As for the kid gloves, people are acting like the sources need to be protected from readalot’s “coercion”, which I find to be funny. If it’s such a problem for them, I’m sure they’re more than capable of speaking up for themselves, as QSC did. Not sure why they need everyone to jump in on their behalf. Again, it’s bizarre.
Regardless, I learned a long time ago that annoying people exist. So long as they’re not actively harming people, I choose to ignore them and live my life. Not sure why anyone here can’t do the same with readalot.
Clearly this is where my time arguing the point today comes to a close though. I need to get back to my small job in the small office, those donations aren’t going to pay for themselves!

I agree with you about annoying people and I agree sources should be held accountable and many on here have done so over the years, QSC is just the latest flame and they’ve flamed hard for sure. I’m “annoyed” by rhetoric of piety, etc also taking credit for work many on meso push for.
The small office comment is not a dig at you but letting you know a different pov of dealing with charity account reps and what you described would never work with large companies. That’s why I think it’s a ridiculous strategy.

This isn't going anywhere. It's clear that nothing I do will be good enough for some on here. The reactions and behaviors drive home what some think of Millard's goals presented clearly on this site. Just no one ever thought someone would take it this far. Interesting to observe.

I assume a rhetorical question. But let me answer. No source was coerced. But evidently there are some here that care quite a bit about engaging with sources in ways they don't find suitable. A protected class. Strange for MESO. Or is it?
