First anavar cycle female

Hi! Female 30/5'7/165lbs 24% BF

I'm on my first Anavar only cycle.

Goals are to get leaner while preserving hard earned muscle, so I'm cutting. I would ideally like to work on things such as pull ups and core.

Day 4 and I'm honestly not feeling very good. Lethargic, no appetite and my entire body feels as if it was a giant cramp, especially my lower back. I'm drinking 1.5 gallons of water a day.

First day I took 5mg in the morning. Second/third day I took 5mg morning and 2.5mg afternoon. I'm taking an EC stack as well, which I have been on since losing 115 lbs a year and a half ago. Milk thistle, mag, potassium, multi, creatine and fish oil.

Today I dropped it down to 2.5mg. I went to the gym as usual at 430am for legs (running a powerbuilding PPL + 30 min of fasted cardio everyday) and was feeling like crap. Went right back home. In my brain fog, I realized I took my normal EC stack without the caffeine. Cramp, headache, nausea...today I feel almost like I have flu. I had more carbs than usual yesterday and am so bloated as well.

I am keeping a detailed log for myself and want to supplement with this online log as I feel a bit alone in this endeavor.

Those are all supps I have been taking since properly 'bodybuilding' with diet and high volume training for 2 years. EC I've been on continuously for about 1.5 years after shedding the last bit of my weight.

Milk thistle is the only new supp in addition to the Var (pharmacom).

I would drop the milk thistle. I've never taken it but I have heard it doesn't agree with everyone. There was someone else taking MC supp and felt terrible but dropped it and progressively better. The pumps from var combined with MC side effects might be what is just making you feel shitty. Others will be here to chime in shortly.

I think the var is legit, but a couple things come to mind:

Sweating a lot from daily intense cardio might have me a bit depleted.

The var may have prompted something to prompt my female cycle, as my lower back cramp and bloated belly feel like PMS. Mind you, weightlifting and dieting have completely made my reproductive function go crazy the past few years.

Eating has been sporadic and difficult - I'm almost intermittent fasting due to the appetite suppression.

Sickness is going around the office and I have a 6 year old who brings home all kinds of lovely bugs.

Ummm, suppose to take breaks with EC stacks it's not good for you to use in continuously and especially for so long. As per your cramps I would add taurine to your supplement regiment.

As for the var itself I wouldn't jump around with dosages right off the bat but I'm sure @GearGodess can give you some better direction then my dumb stuff.

The milk thistle supp also has fennel, dandelion root and licorice...this makes me pee all the time and I think the diuretic properties are too much with all the water, EC and cardio.

I take week breaks every now and then, but use Lyle Mcdonald as an EC educational resource and EC works better as a fat burner as time goes on ( from pub med resource).

I can do a couple of chin ups with reverse grip, bUT not proper wide grip pull ups from a dead hang. I'd like to do 5-10. I can lat pull down 145lbs.

I would suggest working on your chin-up (supinated) first until you can do about 12. Usually at that point you will be able to do a few pull-ups, and then do the same thing for pull-ups until you can do about 12.

There are other approaches - I like this one the best though. Once you can do 12 reps of either with good form then start adding weight for whatever rep range you want to work in.

Do them on Pull day.

If you want an alternative approach look up 'greasing the groove'. I like the one I outlined better for bodybuilding oriented lifters though.

I like the caffeine supplementation. You can probably drop the Milk thistle, it's useless and just another thing that might make you feel shittier. Taurine might help if you're cramping during workouts.

This is awesome. Thank you!!

It's unhealthy is what I'm saying I'm not saying it's not a good fat burner, I'm talking about overall health. And also it's another diuretic along with your milk thistle supplement that is a diuretic you may be over supplementing and causing the problem to yourself

It's a double edged sword as being overweight is also unhealthy - and EC definitely helps keep weight off. There are periods of time where I take it only once a day as preworkout. Other times I just take two doses. When I'm full on cutting I take all three for a month or so then go back down.

Ya being overweight is unhealthy but that's fixed with diet not drugs... And do what you please but your heart isn't going to thank you if your putting the added stress on it for years. Anyways good luck with your cycle.

Obesity is not always just a case of willpower. It's much more of a complex issue. The concept is simple, the execution is difficult. I'm a widow and single mom, a survivor of abuse...sometimes my willpower breaks at the feet of grief, sadness, and trauma. Overeating has always been a anxiety stimulated occurrence for me and EC is a tool in my arsenal for keeping off weight in times of hardship. :)

Welcome. I wont speak on the rest of this because I am under qualified. But the gym / iron has been therapy for a lot of us around here.
