First cycle. Please critique

So I've got more PIP than I have ever had before. I have some swelling and what feels like bruising. It's weird because my first couple of sticks went good in the glute and other quad.

I took the advice of several people and pinned a cc in my delt with a slin pin. It took forever but no PIP, at least not yet.

I did legs tonight thinking if I drew blood to the muscle where I have PIP it might help move fluid. It ended up being self correcting as I'll never do that again. I was only able to squat 315 for one set of 8.

I also have what I believe to be Test Flu but I'm not Doctor and with the weather changes in my area it could be that also. I felt like ass at the gym so I took it easy and did a light leg workout.

My Test symptoms are a stomach that feels like it is in a knot and hot and cold flashes. I also just don't plain feel well. It comes and goes so who knows.

My appetite has been decent and am now at 212.5 lbs. I was hoping for 215 but my food intake, especially Saturday sucked.

I'm going to continue the Test E from PEP and see if this PIP is isolated. Maybe I've pinned quads to often?

If I feel better I think I may try 405 on flat bench tomorrow. Any suggestions or ideas to any of this would be helpful.

I pinned glute today and the first stick was awful. It hurt, bled, so I started over the second one went pretty well. To hear the vials I run a cup of water through the Kurig stick the vials in a sandwich bag. This gets them pretty warm.

I have pip but this time I think it is from the needle not the product. I used a 1.5" 25 gauge.

Did you stick the right place in your glute? I've found a certain sweet spot for mine and have never had any pain. Maybe I have an ass of steel? Who knows. I did heat my vial with a heating pad. I don't know if it helped but I'm going to do that from now on until I get proof it doesn't work.

Lastly, my injection time took literally like four minutes. I think that it helps spread the oil out so it's all not in one space. At least that's what I've read. I've noticed with my 22 and 23 gauges I'm maybe fifteen to thirty seconds delivering all the oil. I probably fucked my quad up my self:rolleyes:

Did I read that right? It took 4 minutes for you to pin with the slin? Something's not right..

King said it would take a while when I talked to him about it. Basically I got the first 2 tenths of a cc in pretty easy but then I started getting resistance. So what I did was count to ten and then push until I hit resistance again.

I know it seems kind of extreme but the spanking my quad is giving me is making me a little timid.

What should it be JB I think you mentioned a minute or so?
 
Thirty seconds to 1 minute for 1 cc. I could push it faster but last time I got a nice tren cough so I won't do that again.

Over two minutes and your probably taking so long you end up moving the needle around in your muscle which I have found to give me more pip as well.

If you are questioning your technique with the slin try a different brand of test and see if you get the same PIP.

No the whole backfilling process takes me around a minute, injecting is around 30 seconds.

I'm not sure. I'm curious to see what it'll be like tomorrow. I've only had PIP once but it's been a bitch. I still have a damn lump. I think it may be me. I still have no soreness from the slin.

I'm also wondering if I can go to ice now as it has been four days since the pin and three days since the swelling started
 
Dude four days is a long time. Even on my worst shots they clear up two.

I don't have any idea why you wouldn't be able to use ice at this point, I know right after the injection it would make it harder to absorb. In my experience it has always helped to use a heat pad instead.

If you don't have one at home and you don't plan on going to the store tonight, fill a sock with rice, tie it off and microwave it for 4-6 minutes depending on how hot you want it.

Take some Anti inflammatory like ibuprofen, it'll help considerably. I actually get less pip if I inject like 5-10 seconds per ML. If I take longer I get too much needle damage and knot for 3 or 4 days, easily.
 
So this morning I woke with a smaller raised area and less PIP in the quad.

Test Flu is less severe too..

Lastly, there is mild PIP in the shoulder. It almost feels like my delt is tired from a good workout. So far there is not lump and no limited range or motion.

I'm taking ibuprofen for the quad swelling so we will see. (Thanks Khem)


I'm going to alternate heat and ice tonight on my quad and see how it works.
 
Attacking it from all angles, I like it!

Gym workout was ok tonight. Chest and Triceps. Was disappointed in my heavy weight movement but was still able to knock out 315 for 8 on my last set. I've got a little PIP from PEP in my delt but it had no effect on my bench. Quad is doing alot better and the Test Flu is subsiding.

Going to ice and heat with some ibuprofen tonight.

Weight is still the same
 
On my first cycle I got 4 day PIP too sometimes.

One time I had a knot in my ass for 2 weeks because a friend did a bad shot and let the needle move almost 40 degrees to the side.

Can't reach my glutes comfortably so never did a shot there again.

I usually pin thru slins in only 10 sec for a mL

When you pin with slins, do you feel back pressure, almost like you have to force the liquid in?
