Thats so very true! I can always go to the the gym and lift weights its all about lowering weights! When im doing heavy lifting though i tend to just move the weight as fast as i can( sometimes not all that fast anyway)The most important factor is INTENSITY. To break out of your body s homeostasis and force it to do what it does NOT want to. if you go in everyday and do 40 sets of exercises half assed and void of any challenge you will be waisting your time. I can trash myself completely in 12 sets or less if I utilize superset and pre exhaustion methods. Squeeze contract and allow the negatives to do their thing. Its not always about more reps
Yup your right thats why my shoulder hurtsI control my weight, I don't ever want to throw weight around. that is how you get hurt.
I bet you are not pushing your shoulder blades together, arching your lower back, or you could be using a grip that is too wide. Those are the things that make my shoulder hurt- push those fucking shoulder blades together like your life depends on it brother.Yup your right thats why my shoulder hurts
Thanx i will for sure! My bench is so weak i got alot of work to doI bet you are not pushing you shoulder blades together, arching your lower back, or you could be using a grip that is too wide. I found out your bench is far more than your bench. To progress steadily and safely it is just as important to develop delts, lats, triceps... every muscle is just as important as your chest. Nothing like db flys to build that chest though.Thanx i will for sure! My bench is so weak i got alot of work to do

As was previously stated keeping the muscle contracted and under steess is far more important than how much or how many. When doing working and warm up sets I never lock out at the top and I don't hit my chest at the bottom. I make sure I always have my chest under stress.[/QUOTE
Well i certainly have been working on being more well rounded then before. Thats a really great point on bench though i do need to get more symetrical than i am. Im sure it will go up with my other lifts
